[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] *I received this product complimentary from Cantu and Influenster for my honest review* I absolutely love Cantu! I have a very weird texture and my hair is very very thick and curly- which of course leads to frizz! I used the Cantu Weightless Gel immediately (see next photo!) and I really liked the result. It was less frizzy and definitely help keep the curls curls! It definitely can make your hair crunchy if you use too much (which I’ve done) but if you use just enough for your hair, you’ll be just fine! I use it whenever I wash my hair now and it’s a normal part of my routine now, so I’ll absolutely be buying this again when I run out! Thank you so much to Cantu and Influenster for this complimentary product! It was great!

This gel is 10/10 !! My curls were absolutely perfect. I have fine 3B/C low density curls, this gel has high slip and feels very lightweight, exactly what my curls need. This gel provided solid hold in high humidity and prevented frizz. Highly recommend this product

Light hold better for waves
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First thing is that I loved the smell of this product. But unfortunately, it just didn’t give my curls the smoothness or the hold that they need. It’s a very light hold and definition instead of a medium, and this may be better for wavy hair instead of true curls.

My hair doesn't get as curly as it does with other products. The waves it gives me do stay in, but I'd rather have a product that gives me more curl. I do use the air dry method so using heat could vary results!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary full size,10 fl oz, bottle of Cantu Weightless Smooth + Hold Gel for free from Influenster and Cantu in exchange for my honest review. Cantu Weightless Smooth + Hold Gel worked fairly well on my daughter’s curly 3C/4A hair type. Her curls were more defined and held up almost all day, not nearly 48 hrs as promised. This lightweight hold gel also made my naturally locked hair feel smoother and look less frizzy. The results were short-term for my dry hair. We both experienced noticeable white flaking. I love the pleasantly light (almost tropical) scent. This reasonably priced vegan gel is made with organic fair trade blue agave and has a thick consistency. It is easy to dispense and apply. I love the Cantu brand and will purchase this weightless gel in the future, as well as recommend it.

It holds the curls and reduces frizz but still leaves plenty of movement and bounce. It felt creamy kind of like a mix between gel and mousse. I slept in it and the next morning my hair still looked good enough to just go out in.
