Cantu Weightless Protect + Shine Hair Gloss is a lightweight gloss developed to smooth flyaways & frizz and prevent heat damage when exposed up to 482° F/250° C. Made with organic fair trade blue agave known to promote stronger, smoother, healthier-looking hair. Certified organic coconut oil, jojoba oil, argan oil and flaxseed oil help to moisturize strands and leave hair soft, shiny. This Weightless Gloss also protects against UV damage and the drying effect of the sun. Cantu Weightless is vegan, suitable for sensitive skin, and free from harsh ingredients.

As a woman with type 3b/4a curl patterns, I absolutely love and approve of this product. I was traveling for a work trip and left my toiletries home. In a pinch, I decided to purchase this so my hair wouldn’t be dry. It helped with my fly aways when I wore my hair straight and also doubles as a heat protectant when I need to touch up my hair with a flat iron. The smell of the product is really nice and not over powering. I love the effort the brand took to design this product with natural oils. Yes it is silicone based so may not be best for thinner hair but thick hair will feel silky. The product came with a seal under the twist cap which also gave me confidence that it had not been opened prior to purchasing. It also didn’t spill in transit.

I have thin but very curly hair and this is just awful. Weighs it down, looks greasy, stringy, etc. This is with a very small amount used on dry hair. Maybe if you have a very thick texture it would be something but it certainly isn't "weightless". Didn't try it as heat protectant. Tbh if you have straight hair I could see it being more useful for frizz, I think it just destroys curls
