I applied it with damp hair and scrunched my curls with the cream and allow it to dry locking in those curls. The scent is pleasant and the packaging of the product is pretty standard. This is a product i would use in rotation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product is great! I have a mix of 3A and 3B hair that is on the dry side and was in search of a a new curl cream to try out. I was excited to try out the Cantù Weightless curl cream. This curl cream is light weight, moisturizing, and doesn’t have silicones so it won’t build up! I personally don’t enjoy heavy products so this product works well for me, however it’s a little too lightweight. When I tried it, I didn’t use hold products with it to properly test it on its own. On its own it didn’t tame my frizz and hold my curls very well so it should be used in conjunction with a gel or mousse but it kept my curls moisturized each day. I’ve used it in soaking wet hair out the shower and on dry hair on non-wash days to remoisturize. Just as a heads up, it does have a strong scent but doesn’t stay strong throughout the day. I personally like the scent - every time I use it my hair smells like I just got out the shower but I wanted to point it out as some people might not enjoy a strong scented product.

So imagine my surprise as I applied thus cream to my freshly washed hair and my hair just ate it up. I mean my Curls were so defined, moisturized, and luscious! The scent is nice- lightly fresh. If you have low porosity hair, definitely buy this. I received this product complimentary in exchange for an honest review.

I was excited to try this and was nervous as I always am about trying a new hair product. I wanted to love this as it’s at such a wonderful price point and it’s such a light product with good ingredients. While it did define my curls, I felt like it didn’t do much at all for a smoothing factor and my hair felt frizzier than ever. As I said, my hair texture is very unpredictable, so this could be a me thing for sure, but I personally was not a great fit for this product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Cantu Weightless Smooth and Curl Cream has a smooth, silky texture. The consistency is on the thin side, allowing it easily to apply through the hair. The product almost feels like it absorbs into the hair, there’s no greasiness and it’s extremely lightweight on my curls. There is a scent to the cream that reminds me of something like fruity bubblegum (can’t pinpoint exactly what), but I don’t mind it. My normal hair texture is a mix of waves and curls and they get very frizzy without any styling product. After application, my curls were less frizzy and the product helped give them some shape. The hold isn’t very strong though, I’d recommend pairing this with a gel if you want more definition.
