It sleeks very well and leaves a glossy finish. Also, it smells really good and doesn’t leave a residue. I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you're looking for a lightweight gel, this is pretty good. I have locs and I also used it to retwist my little brother. We both have 4 range texture...mine is 4c but soft like cotton. I personally like a twist gel that is a bit firmer with it's hold so it wouldn'tbe my go to for a long term hold. Maybe if I wanted to just do a quick touch up between retwists. No white build up though which is always a plus for loc products! I just retwisted mine today and only used it for the top because once I started in the back I wasn't feeling the hold that much so I stopped and picked it back up in the top for photo purposes. Will try it again but I wanted to get my feedback in before time was up 🙂

The hold is nice at first, maybe I need to put more or add a different gel too to make it last holder for the edges. Or some spray. But yeah. I really like it. Even with my twists and my braids, gives it a sleek start and helps stretch the hair out too. This been my go to.

I used a bit on my niece’s hair to do twist outs and there was not a white, filmy cast at all using this gel. It holds well & a little goes a long way. I loved the scent also it was a bit citrusy and floral, the jar was filled to the top with product! I think I will def be purchasing this for her again, thank you so much influenster for this VoxBox!

I used it while braiding each braid to give the best hold. I noticed that it made the braids last longer than when braided without. I do recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this new Cantu Brady and twist gel as a complete surprise so i was so excited to use it. I currently have a deep wave sew in weave so i used the gel to help twist my leave out into the weave i order to help it blend. The gel was useful for this. It smelled really good and was not super sticky or tacky to touch. I two strand twisted my hair/weave with the gel and it came out pretty good. The leave out blended well and the gel didn’t leave my hair hard or sticky. The only problem is that i wish it lasted longer. After about half a day the waves from the twists had fell out. I wish the gel had a little more holding power. All in all i like the product and will continue to use it.

We both have different hair types and I wanted to see whose twist it would work better on. I would say that the texture is light weight. Both of our hair is thick, so once it dries and we keep the twist in for a few days? I will come back for an update.
