I love this smell, so far my favourite cantu product! Perfect for styling my hair, leaves them moisturised and curled. This makes them more shiny during the day!

My boyfriend uses this on his hair and it makes it so soft and defines his natural curls. Makes his hair shiny and soft as well.highly recommend this product.

Love this product! it's the only Cantu style cream that i like since it is light (USUALLY CANTU CREAMS ARE TOO HEAVY FOR MY CURLS), smells amazing and my curls seem to love it (i HAVE TIGHT 3B/3C CURLS AND A LOT OF IT!) It is one of the only products I can use on its own to style OR REFRESH AND MY CURLS ALWAYS TURN OUT AMAZING. i HAVE ALSO BEEN USING THE MATCHING SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER AND SCALP OIL WHICH i HAVE ALSO ENJOYED AND MY HAIR FEELS SOFT AND HYDRATED AFTER THE SHOWER.

Really disappointing. No matter how little I use, it leaves my hair feeling crunchy, sticky, and almost like it’s starting to mat as soon as it dries. I’ve tried it multiple times with different amounts and different techniques, same result every time. There are far better products out there at better prices, I’ll be sticking to those from now on.

The smell on this product is so strong and yummy. A little goes a long way and I’ve noticed my hair shines beautifully with it on. I use it once a week on my hair.

This comes in a lovely orange pot . The consistencyis a bit thin and you need a bit for it to cover your whole head . It sinks into your hair really easily and washes in and out easily leaving your hair hydrated and conditioed

to be completely honest i didn’t like the consistency of this one, but it’s a fact that is one of the best products for curls, specially for day by day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about this gel is the scent. It kind of reminds me of a tropical plug in. But not as intense as a plug in... If that makes sense. The gel is thin to me, it kind of felt like I was applying water and oil to my hair. I first used it to refresh a wash and go. When I first put it on it was pretty. My curls didn't pop as much as I wanted, I had to manipulate them quite a bit and use quite a bit of this product. This gel is very light so my hair pretty much ate this up. There wasn't much hold when I used it by itself. So for my kinky hair, I could not use this for a slick back ponytail (what I usually use gel for) but because my hair coils around itself I figured it'd work with twist. I decided to use this again for kinky twist with weave which I am now rocking. I combined it with cream moisturizer and an oil. This turned out pretty good. My hair had a nice very light hold and there is no flaking or crunch. This slips right through the hair for easy application. Dried down nicely, doesn't weigh the hair down. And my hair smelled great for a few days. This probably won't be a go to for my hair texture, but my sisters hair is probably going to love this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this product. The concentration is good, not too thick and easy to saturate all over my hair. It also left my hair very soft. I used it right after shampooing my hair and allowed it to air dry. I was concerned that after drying my hair would be crunchy but that was not the case. I will say though, if you are sensitive to smells then it might not be for you as the guava smell was fairly strong. I would definitely buy again for my girls and I.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This just what my dried up hair needed the cream is thick and it smells really good. This is an INTENSE moisture product. It might be too much to use on thin hair or on hair that is less than dry 4C type but for 4C hair - damaged or not - this is the stuff.

I not a big gel user cause it normally flakes in my hair or makes it stiff this product did not. My hair felt soft and lightweight and no buildup or flakes anywhere

It does t help comb through my personal hair (4C) but I still love it for styling and smell. It’s light weight and doesn’t leave any white residues on your hair and scalp!! The best way I can describe the smell is pineapple-y, melon, and sweet vanilla

It is filled with guava, ginger, castor oil, and vitamin E. I can’t wait to see the new growth once I take out my braids. Definitely recommend for my natural girlies.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product in the mail. I tried Cantu years ago and decided it wasn’t for me. This Guava Cream Gel has a really nice smell. So I’ll give it a ten for that. It’s very loud and lights up the room. I love walking past someone and they tell me I smell good…but it’s the hair. I love the thickness of it. The product is not too runny, nor is it too heavy. I was able to run my fingers through my natural hair with ease. My curls were formed well, but not like I know they can. Maybe there are products that go along with this to give better results. The curls did hold and on the dry down they were not crunchy. Also my hair did not flake. Everything stated on the jar holds true, except my curls were not as defined as they normally are. I would recommend this, if you are a Cantu lover.
