I’ve been using this gel for about 3 years, and it has definitely become one of my favorite products for defining my curls. Whenever I run out, I always buy another one. I love that my hair absorbs it really well, and it gives me medium hold when I mix my leave-In conditioner or curl activator. It defines my curls without leaving my hair hard, crunchy or weighed down. What I love most is that I can get beautiful definition while keeping my curls soft and bouncy. This gel has been a staple in my curly hair routine for years, and I will definitely keep repurchasing it. Highly recommend.

It has a good smooth feel ‘ it smells good as well ! It goes good on your scalp and it doesn’t cause a lot of drying. The hair won’t curl unless you want it to

Best bang for your buck
Absolutely loved this when I would wear my hair naturally curly! I had 3b curls and it held them defined and frizz free without being sticky or crunchy.

Durable quality
For me, Cantu styling gel has been my best ally at this moment, after going through hair loss due to cancer, I was looking for a product that would not mistreat my hair, leave no visible residues or very hard, and honestly, I found it, a delicious, durable smell without leaving the hair very wet, it is incredible, preferable to apply with wet hair.

You don't need a lot on product
I think this product is well appreciated for girls who have 4c hair type. Your curls will be shiny and hydrated. Best results would be to use on freshly washed hair and you have time to air dry.

Love Cantu and this product. Doesn’t leave any flakes when doing a retwist on my locs. It smooths out my roots and my hair is about 4c. Leave it slick and sleek!

This product give great hold and flexibility to your hair! It doesn’t give you the hard gel feeling and stickiness you get from other gels and it smells great. Usually the only get I like to use.

The fragrance and residue factor are wins for me.
I love the smell of this product. Also it has a different feel but very strong. I would recommend the residue is not as bad as most gels. Price for product is good or fair I would say. And it consistently lasts all day.
