Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

Terrible. Had them less than a year and everything started sticking, no matter that I did every single thing they recommend to take care of them. Preheat the pan, use the correct oil, heat not too high, hand wash with good quality soap. They are the worst pots and pans I’ve ever owned and I steer everyone away from them. Not to mention the outside gold handles and black exterior looks awful after a year.

My daughter moved in to her own place and needed cookware. She was saying she heard great things about Caraway. Thought we would give it to her as a gift but truthfully when I saw the price I gasped. But as a mom I always want to get them what they ask for so.....I started with the mini set. She has not stopped raving about it. No scrapping, even cooking, non-stick and such pretty colors. I just purchased her the entire set for Christmas so shhhhhh don't say anything. And now, I'm looking at the storage containers for my other daughter who is a huge food prep girl and keeping food from spoiling. And then....I'll save some pennies to purchase for myself.
