I was looking for a non-toxic all stainless steel peeler which is surprisingly hard to come by. This one is very sturdy and has a nice sharp peeling blade. The peeled bits of food don't fall out as easily as other peelers I have used so it is a bit harder to move quickly but otherwise, no complaints so far!
it is beautiful peeler! However, it is not very functional peeler.

Don't peel the carrot or cucumber skin as well as the old peeler from OXO. Good quality, but there is design fault. Too costly for a piece of art.

It takes such thin layers of peel off of the vegetables that I need to stop after every pass to clean the peel off the vegetable or untangle it from inside the peeler.
