Q: From the pictures, it looks like the lids are not transparent. Is that so? I like to see if my water is boiling, etc.

A: We highly recommend hand washing over dishwasher usage! Dishwasher detergents tend to have harsh ingredients that can aid in the rapid deterioration of the nonstick coating.

A: Our longer-handled cookware, such as the Sauté Pan, Fry Pan, and Sauce Pan all have a notch a few inches up the handle. This notch designates at what point the handle should stay cool enough to grab with bare hands. Extended use could cause that warmth to increase slightly further up the handle, but it would not for nearly all regular meals and recipes!

We love the way it cooks and cleans. The only negative is that the handles and lids stay very hot so we have to use something to protect our hands.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Caraway cookware is simply the Best! Each time we replaced a non-stick pot or pan, or even an entire set, we started all over again with a new one. We have been through several different well-known brands that had "forever chemicals" in the non-stick coating material. We also had a set of stainless steel cookware and got extremely tired of cleaning and polishing it using "elbow grease" after each use. Caraway has solved all the problems we had with each of our previous cookware, and it is now our "forever cookware" without the "forever chemicals."
Cookware set is a great way to test the Caraway product. You’ll find yourself ordering additional pieces as it is everything Caraway says it is.
