Q: Does this chair also rock or just swivel?

A: I found a description for this same chair on a different site that says : "Metal base that allows for a smooth and gentle 360 degree swivel motion and forward and backward gliding so you can be comfortable as you feed or rock your baby to sleep." This leads me to believe it rocks like a rocking chair or swivels.

Q: Does this "lock" in the reclined position? We have another glider recliner and while it "reclines," you have to actively be pushing back on it w/ your body, it doesn't lock/stay in reclined position.

A: As long as the recline bar is pulled up, it should stay in the reclined position.

A: It would depend. The height from the top of the back seat to the top of the seat cushion is 26". While the overall height dimension is 41.5".

A: Hi! The Arlo Recliner and Swivel Glider comes in both performance and boucle fabrics; however, only the performance fabric has water-repellent and stain-resistant qualities. Boucle fabrics, while lovely, are not considered performance fabrics. I hope this helps!

A: Hi! Yes, the Carter's by DaVinci Arlo Recliner and Swivel Glider should be comfortable for an average 6-foot-tall man, however, it would still depend on personal preference. It has a seat height of 20.5 inches and a back height of 64 inches for comfortable stretch. Hope this helps!

This is exactly what I wanted - a recliner nurdery chair that also glides/rocks. Works perfectly and looks beautiful. My husband is taller and it works for him as well. I also like that it doesn't take up a ton of space; it's not slim, but it's not overstuffed like my PB chair.

I have had this chair for 6 months now and i would say the chair is a perfect color and is comfortable however, it’s hard to get out of with a baby. It’s also not easy to close it and it’s loud when closing it although, it’s still a great chair but there is some flaws to it forsure!

Love the neutral color and wingback style of this glider recliner. I looked everywhere (locally and on-line) before finally making a decision. I also like that it fits in a tight space next to my bedside and the gliding feature on it is so soothing it puts both me and my baby in a very relaxed mood. Overall I love the chair! It’s exactly what I was looking for and for a good price compared to over brands! Only reason for 4 stars is because the leg rest is a bit of a pain to get back down. I see it being an issue especially once baby comes!

I received this chair 2 days ago and it took 2 people to carry it to our second floor as it’s heavy and bulky. It looks nice but whoever loaded it into its box had their hands dirty as there are 2 big grayish handprints on each side of the chair. I tried cleaning them and it looks better now but they are still visible. Maybe don’t order the light cream version.

I am so disappointed in this chair. We have a different chair of the same brand just different style that is super comfortable so after reading reviews of the Arlo chair, we went for it thinking it would be similar. If I sit in this chair for longer then an hour, my butt hurts, my back hurts, the arm rests suck and are too skinny, there is absolutely nowhere to put your head so my neck is killing me. The leg rest is also HARD! It basically digs into my calves. I wish I wouldn’t have spent so much on this chair. I’m so sad that we are stuck with this chair and wish they still made the chair we have in my son’s nursery. Would not recommend this chair unless you want to be sore all over.

This chair is very difficult to get out of while holding a baby, when getting up it swings back and is very dangerous. Also it’s poorly made, I’ve had this chair for a few months and it started making a creaking sound when rocking. A rocking chair is something that is used often with a baby, don’t take the risk with this chair

This chair is so cozy for both my husband & I! Love the hidden recliner pull feature. I like that or rocks & swivels when the legs are down! It is stationary when the legs are up. The lumbar pillow adds perfect support. Ours was a tad bit creaky when rocking but we turned the base & got it to go away. It came in just a few pieces. The back slid well into the brackets of the seat back smoothly if at the right angle & the wings also fit perfectly into place. Keep the manual for easy disassembly! It’s definitely more of a yellowy-cream than an ivory color but suited our existing cream decor well. Perfect addition to our nursery!

Ordered this as a gift. The chair is listed as a swivel glider and the design is described as “forward and backward gliding.” The chair DOES NOT glide. It rocks. That is very different and not what we wanted. Very disappointed in this purchase.

We have a cat who likes to claw furniture, so we were looking for a rocker that wouldn’t show scratches well & this material is perfect since it’s a little fuzzy by design! We’ve already spent many nights in this chair and love how comfortable it is. The only downside is it’s a little difficult to put the footrest down when you’ve got a baby in your arms - it requires a fair bit of force so without being able to use your hands to support you it can take a few tries 🤪
