Q: when building this is the back piece supposed to have 14 holes to screw into ?

A: It's a self-tapping screw, so you just screw it in through the back panel into the wood frame. There are holes for those but you can spread them out accordingly.

Got this dresser with the matching Radley crib. It did not take too long to assemble. The color and materials were really nice. It is very roomy and holds a lot! The dresser looks very gorgeous itself, and it can easily fit in any adult bedroom instead of just nursery.
