HERE'S my comparison test, You decide?

I have tried recently 2 different brands first I tried FINISH PowerBall Ultimate because it said that it's Virtually Spotless and cleans 24hr dry-on food & stains and comes with 70 Tabs ( scent ?/unknown) ( same price as Cascade) Next I Tried CASCADE Platinum Plus comes with 47 ActionPacs/ mountain scent States 100% removes food Residue/ Cleans Visible and Invisible Residue. Well here is my Opinion: The FINISH PowerBall as far as I am concerned! FINISHED DEAD LAST in this Food Cleaning comparison test! the Finish product DIDN'T remove all of the food residue and Left wet/drying streak's on every dinner plate and I even found leftover on silverware. I personally Don't Recommend the FINISH PowerBall even with the 70 Tabs versus 47 that comes in CASCADE. ( I intentionally left dried food on different items for both Dishwasher detergents) I Tried the CASCADE, by the way which also has the power of Bleach. HANDS DOWN! Cascade in my opinion works 100% Better than Finish PowerBall CASCADE, Cleans, Shine's and even SPARKLES, I don't think that there is a better dishwasher detergent than this CASCADE PLATINUM PLUS 47 ActionPacs No Spots/ Streaks just a CLEAN dishwashing process that works on the GROSS and leftover food stains and Grime That No One Wants Left behind. It's Nice to remove a plate or dish from your kitchen cabinet, Knowing that it's Clean with No Sudden Nasty Surprises! (Even your Mother In-law might be surprised when she comes to visit!) "LOL"

Mountain scent is way too strong. Made me feel sick and caused headaches.

Mountain scent is horrific. This scent gave me horrible headaches. After a couple uses, I placed these pods in a bag and took to the garage. I later gave them away. I had to run several cycles just to get the scent out of the dishwasher. I also had to rewash our dinnerware. Way too strong. Left me gasping and gagging. I like Cascade but this scent should be discontinued.

Hello! We're genuinely sorry to hear about your negative experience with the Mountain scent Cascade ActionPacs, Baltimore. To assist you further and to learn more about your situation, please contact us at 1-800-765-5516. We appreciate your feedback about this scent.

    Bad packaging of cascade

This was packed with flour that exploded everywhere. Since it was sealed I managed to save it. For this reason I gave it One rating

Hi Marie! We're sorry to hear that the Cascade Platinum Plus ActionPacs Dishwasher Detergent in Mountain Scent arrived all burst and that the powder part was everywhere inside the package. This sounds like a very messy experience, and it's certainly not the quality we want you to receive and experience. We deeply appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and be assured that our products go through many quality checks to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. Please know that all of our Cascade ActionPacs are formulated to start dissolving as soon as they come in contact with water, it sounds like they may have been exposed to moisture or humid conditions. We'd like to share some helpful tips: if by any chance you find 2 or more Cascade ActionPacs stuck together, do not try to pull them apart, and do not use multiple pacs in one load. Always keep the Cascade ActionPacs package tightly closed between uses, and store them in a dry area with low humidity at room temperature. We'd like to know more about your experience and help you. Please contact us at 1-800-765-5516, and our team will be more than happy to take your insights and assist further. We wish you the best!

Only cleans in warm water & you MUST remove all food

This product doesn't dissolve fully unless you run at least a warm water cycle. And don't believe that you can simply put plates etc without totally rinsing all food off. It's sad because despite upgrading to their "best" of 3 cleaning strengths, it still doesn't actually clean fully. Very disappointing.

Hello Joelle! Thank you for your feedback. Cascade Platinum Plus ActionPacs perform best when used with hot water (120°F or higher). While pre-rinsing is not required, scraping crops and ensuring proper loading helps improve cleaning efficiency. We appreciate your comments and will share them with our product team. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at (800) 765-5516. We’re here to help!

We understand your concern about the strong scent from the Cascade Platinum Plus Action Pacs. While Cascade Platinum is known for its powerful cleaning capabilities, it does have a more pronounced fragrance. If you’re looking for a scent-free option, you may want to try Cascade Free & Clear, which is formulated to have the lightest scent and could be a suitable alternative if you want to avoid strong fragrances. Your feedback is important to us, and we’d love to hear more about your experience, so please call us at (800) 765-5516!
