Q: is there any bleach in the packets

submitted by goes on clear - 4 months ago

  • A: Hello! Thank you for your question. The Cascade ActionPacs contain Sodium Carbonate Peroxide, which is an oxygen-based bleach, not chlorine bleach. It gently whitens and helps remove stains while being safe for most dishwashing applications. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at (800) 765-5516.

Q: When I started using Cascade platinum pods, my dishwasher started leaking due to too many suds (as I was told by my plumber). Can this happen? Is Cascade complete better with less suds?

submitted by PK - 4 years ago

  • A: Thanks for your question. We want to assure you all variations of Cascade are formulated to not bubble up too much if used according to the instructions on the package. Hand dish soap left on any dishes you may have pre-washed can also add suds. Malfunctioning door gaskets can also lead to over sudsing, as the broken seal allows pressure to be released.

Q: How is it "complete" with our bleach of any kind? Your dish detergents are soo full of fail now.

submitted by no - 6 years ago

  • A: Thank you for your question, Cakeatron. The benefit of any bleach ingredient, regardless of bleach type, is to remove or lighten color. Our Cascade Complete doesn't contain a bleaching agent. However our Cascade +Oxi does contain an oxygen based bleach which offers the same results as any other bleach. Please give us a call at (800) 765-5516, if we can help you further.

Title: Gets dishes completely clean without pre-rinsing!"I have been using these Cascade Platinum pacs for my busy family's dishes, and they work great. They easily remove dried-on pasta sauce and coffee stains without me having to scrub the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. The only downside is that if my hands are slightly wet when I reach into the container, the pacs stick together and can rip. Overall, they save me a lot of time and leave my glasses streak-free."

    Cascade is superior

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have started using Cascade Complete Action Pacs again after a little break trying something else. I was quickly reminded why I have used this brand for so many years. It does a great job compared to other brands. It's quick and easy and the pacs completely dissolve unlike others. I am glad I made the change back.

    So fresh. So clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great and work better than the average dishwasher pod. They have a pleasant scent and are easy to use. They have a tendency to stick together though and bust open. Other than that, they are awesome!

    Trusted brand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishwasher pod from a trusted brand. Works good on removing stuck on food. Single pods makes it easy to pop in. Nice fresh scent. Only con is that sometimes the pod doesn't dissolve completely.

    Smell and work great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't normally like pods because they seems to not always break down completely, but these worked perfectly! Got my dishes sparkly and the fresh smell was permeating from the washer while it was running and well after. I normally would go for pods, but I may keep using these
