Q: When I started using Cascade platinum pods, my dishwasher started leaking due to too many suds (as I was told by my plumber). Can this happen? Is Cascade complete better with less suds?

A: Thanks for your question. We want to assure you all variations of Cascade are formulated to not bubble up too much if used according to the instructions on the package. Hand dish soap left on any dishes you may have pre-washed can also add suds. Malfunctioning door gaskets can also lead to over sudsing, as the broken seal allows pressure to be released.

A: Thank you for your question, Cakeatron. The benefit of any bleach ingredient, regardless of bleach type, is to remove or lighten color. Our Cascade Complete doesn't contain a bleaching agent. Some pods were fused together
When I opened the tub, I discovered that a dozen or more of the pods were fused together in a big rat's nest. I was able to separate some of the pods using scissors, but most of the bunch I had to discard. I was not impressed to say the least. Might try another brand next time.

No need to pre wash with these ActionPacs because they leave the dishes sparkling with hardly any effort from me which I love! What I love almost as much as that is the fresh scent that is left after the pacs so what they do! Wouldn’t expect anything less from detergent that comes with the grease fighting power of Dawn dish soap!

Good overall, glassware struggles
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super easy to use and measure- all you need is a single pod! I love the way they look too, nice compact package. I wish that they did a better job of getting my glasses clean- there seems to be residue on my glassware, particularly from my ice coffee. The only way they really work on them is if I rinse the glassware completely which is kind of silly at that point, they’re almost clean! All other dishes are reliably cleaned, just the glassware that seems to struggle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After buying a house with a dishwasher and never having one before in my life I was never sure on which brand of detergent to use. I have tried many in the past and it seemed like there was always something else that was needed along with the detergent whether it be a shine booster or a pre-cleaning agent or a rinsing agent there's always something else LOL. Cascade is something that continues to impress over time as I swear the quality only gets better. I just put a pod into the detergent reservoir and it is just that simple. My dishes come out streak free and clean with no buildup or residue left on them and without having to do pre-cleaning or worrying about running them through an additional cycle it gets it done the first time. Definitely blows all the other brands out of the water in my opinion just for ease of use as well as quality for getting the job done the first time.
