    Cheaper Than Cascade, but Doesn't Work as Well

    Tried to save money buying generic, but unfortunately these simply don't work as well as the brand name (Cascade). Glasses in particular come out of the wash still dirty and caked with residue. I'll be going back to the brand name after trying this. Avoid!

    Splish Splash...

    I was excited to read that Target’s brand of dishwasher tabs were highly rated by some notable review sources, however, they didn’t work well for us. I previously used either Cascade Free and Clear, or Seventh Generation tabs, and both worked without issues. These Target branded tabs create so much excess foam that my dishwasher pauses itself to prevent damage to the recirculating pump. Once the load finally finishes, the dishes appear clean, but I can’t trust that they are truly rinsed well enough, plus the concern with the machine stopping due to excess suds. Unfortunately, we won’t be using them due to this issue.

    Not as good as I had expected

    For simple things like dishwasher detergent, I rely on Consumer Reports ratings. I was happy to see this comparatively inexpensive detergent at the top of the most recent ratings, so I bought a 48 pack container. I won't be buying it again. I have almost used up the container, and I would guess that around one out of every four wash cycles I am removing a few dishes that are not completely clean. I will go back to my old option, which has never left me with dirty dishes.

    Best - per Consumer Reports

    Absolutely fantastic product. I tend to follow what Consumer Reports recommends, and they currently have this as the top-rated detergent (94/100) above ALL other brands. That got my attention. It is priced very fairly and reasonably too. Bravo!

    Doesn't clean well

    The only thing I liked about these detergent pods was the price. I'm not sure why, but on several occasions, these pods are not dissolving in the wash. I do not have this issue when using other "name brands." It's unfortunate, because I like to save money where I can. I also agree with other reviews that say these don't clean well. There have been many dishes that come out with food still on them. I will not be buying these again.
