Well these sure suck. Managed to clip two claws, can barely move the clippers open and shut — the metal grinds on metal and it’s not easy to open and close. Add a squirmy cat to the mix, and these are dangerous when they take too long to open and close.

We used this product 2 times. First time went fine. On the 2nd time, when squeezing to trim a cat claw, the 2 sides of the clipper came apart at the hinge-pin, resulting in twisting the cat's claw. We pushed the sides back together again, but they kept coming apart. This prouduct is dangerous to your pet, and can harm them, do no use it!

These clippers are horrible. The nail that remains afterwards is shattered. They were less than $6.00. I suppose you get what you pay for. I'll be returning these and buying a quality pair elsewhere. Don't waste your time with these.

I got this prob a year ago and it worked nice. I lost it and got this again the other day and first thing I notice is how much cheaper the material is. Not only that but it doesn’t even cut my cats nails. The clippers are loose and wiggle.

These required a lot of force to trim the nails and cat nails are pretty thin. They also broke apart before I could even finish all four paws. They catch on themselves and don’t deliver a clean cut. These were also more expensive than my similar nail trimmers from PetSmart that lasted more than 5 years with at least 5 cat nail trims every 3 weeks.

This is a great product for old cats who stop preening their claws. I noticed my cats claws getting stuck on the blanket and to make his little life easier I gave him a trim with these.
