Awful
This is one of the worst SPF face creams I have ever tried. The AM and PM Cerave face creams are so drying and on top of that the AM cream will just not absorb into my skin. It just clumps up, it flakes and it cakes like a bad foundation. My last attempt at trying to use it I ended up just giving up and wiping it off my face. I will not be attempting again. I do not recommend this cream.

My Go-To Daily Face Lotion
This product works well, is moisturizing and doesn’t leave a weird film on my face that some sunscreen face lotions do! It does have a slight sunscreen smell to it but nothing too strong. The packaging is perfect for packing for travel!

Disappointed in the Product
I have never had this problem before. My dermatologist told me to choose an oil free moisturizer. In using very little while applying to the face, I find that I am getting a white crumbly residue which I then have to wipe off my face. This leaves me to believe that very little moisturizing will be done when using it. Any suggestions?

Subpar
This just doesn’t work for my skin. As many other reviewers have mentioned, it pills a ton and it does not seem to fully absorb. It also leaves white film across my face, without any other products underneath and on a clean face. It feels like this could be the sunscreen overpowering the moisturizer in some way. I will not be buying it again or recommending it to anyone.

This product left a white cast and it flaked off in little bits all over my face within minutes of putting it on. So disappointing for how expensive it is and I typically like CeraVe products. I will be returning this.

Love it
This was recommended my my dermatologist and I love it for the spring and summer. It’s affordable and does a great job of keeping me moisturized. I have combination skin on the dryer side, so this is not a great moisturizer for the winter. My only complaint is that it does burn my eyes, most likely due to the SPF.

Leaves skin feeling hydrated and makes it glow!
I’ve been using this sunscreen in my skincare routine for nearly 4 years. I have extremely sensitive skin and it’s never given me any issues!! It leaves my skin feeling hydrating and glowing without it feeling greasy or oily. My only complaint is it will occasionally ball up.

It's time for me to give up on Cerave products for my face. They sting and burn - from the gentle cleanser to the 30 and 50 sunscreens, to the cream. I wanted to love them because they're affordable, fragrance-free, and have less ingredients than most to irritate me. I'm going back to what I always end up going back to. Bye, Cerave. P.S. 67 years young. Incredibly clear skin. Super, super sensitive/dry skin.

Doctors office hooked
I started using this outstanding product years ago . I had been working in dermatology for a long time and had tried every product on the market. The day the rep came in with samples, we were like ok thanks. We listened to the information and took samples home to try . Well in a a few weeks we were all hooked. It also became the number one product our doctors recommended. It is so light for such a great moisturizer with adequate sun protection. Goes wonderfully under make! And I can not stress enough how important everyday spf coverage is, to not only to slow the aging of your skin but prevent skin cancer . I can not recommend this product enough. Oh also it is great for babies to seniors!

This needs to be used on clean skin with no other skin care underneath. It pills really bad, to where I had to wipe the pilling off with a towel. I gave it to my fiancé to use as he only uses sunscreen in the morning and it’s worked well for him with no pilling.

Not as good as most Cerave products
I used a lot of CeraVe products and I liked all of them until this one. Their PM lotion is my favorite so I thought the AM lotion should be as good. But I was wrong. It leaves messy white cast on your face and hard to smooth out. Very disspointed.

I have been using this for 2 years now. I have combination skin and wear it every morning. I wash it off in the evening and have not had any breakouts. It is mosturizing, but not too much and it dries pretty clear. It can leave a bit of a white cast but I do have fair skin so you can't see it.
