Ceretone OTC Hearing Aids - Torch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Ceretone OTC hearing aids (Model CE-A18A) have really impressed me. I have long suffered from Tinnitus. I always have to have some type sound going in the background to help mask it, but it is always there.. the ringing in my head. I originally was going to let my husband use these, as I tire of repeating myself multiple times, but when I saw these relieve Tinnitus by masking, I decided to test these myself. All I can say is wow! These are not a cure, but for me the sound, which is along the lines of static, is really helpful. It doesn’t stop the sounds or fully make them something I don’t hear, but it is very pleasant and a real help. And the masking sound can be adjusted to one of six levels of volume. Two easy steps to begin using them, and it comes with S, M, and L Eartips for comfort. I love that these are barely noticeable when my hair is up, and the battery lasts over 24 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are very low profile and each one is color coded to assist you and placing the correct one in the proper ear. It has numerous options for sounds settings and the quality seems to be quite well even on one of the lowest settings. The case charged quickly and shows you that each ear piece is charging when inserted back into the case. The ear pieces are comfortable and con with 3 different sizes for each collars to assist in the perfect fit for your individual ear position. The button on the front of each ear piece is what is gently pushed to increase the volume of each device. For an OTC hearing device these hit the mark.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They make sounds sound different than without. Like it’s playing through ear bones now. The biggest drawback is there’s noise when putting them on. No way to turn on after they’re adjusted to ears. Different colors to label right and left. Button to adjust volume and mode. There’re a whole lot of conditions not suitable for though. As a ypubger person with hearing difficultes, I found this device to be helpful after careful set up and practice. I am hearing lectures better. I can also watch tv wh everyone without having to raise volume excessively. The device comes with a carry case, charger, cleaning tools and ear tips. This device is recommended for ages 18 plus. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite thing about this hearing aid is that it is very discreet. It looks like regular headphones in your ears and so you don’t have to worry about anyone looking at you or understanding that you are having a hearing problem. This has been great because this is why I have avoided hearing aids in the past and I have struggled. I really like that I am able to hear better. You do need to get used to them a little but when you do, you will be glad that you got them I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited for these because they remind me of earbuds that you would listen to music to but for making your hearing better. They work very well at amplify the sound around you but I cannot get used to the microphone sound they create. They do suggest giving a couple weeks to get used to it so my hearing might not be fully adjusted yet. These are so easy to just pop in your ear and go, no adjusting or such. Normal hearing aids have to wrap around your ear, have wires to adjust etc. these are so nice to just slip in to your ear. On the bad side though is they are more uncomfortable than I thought, I personally plan on using these for shorter periods of time, not all day. The insert piece is pretty long. Overall, the ease of use and the way these work definitely make it worth it. Glad I gave them a try, they're definitely a keeper. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are an affordable hearing aid option, which is great because they can often be cost-prohibitive! The charging case is a bit bigger than a wireless earbud case, making it easy to carry in a purse or pocket. The buds are different colors so it is easy to differentiate between L side and R side. I also love that the volume levels can be voice-activated, and that there is a tinnitus setting. Unfortunately the tinnitus setting is only recommended for 30 min at a time, 3 times a day, but it provides effective relief! I received an incentive to write this review.

I have gone through different OTC hearing aid brands to find a good alternative to my current prescription-grade device. Torch has been amazing. I don't have to use the max volume to be able to hear better and the battery life lasts quite a whille. The sound output of the hearing aid does NOT sound robotic either, it sounds natural

Torch has been one of the most easy to use and versatile hearing aids I have used. Pretty much open the case and put them in your ear. The sound quality is solid, no feedback or ringing. I have very mild tinnitus and the feature it has to mask it works significantly well. I do reccommend this hearing aid. Has the quality and performance of a $1000 hearing aid.

The tan color blends well with my ear. Programs help filter out the background noise.

The battery life and features it has is perfect! Design is simple and easy to tell which one belongs in which ear. I like them alot!

The device itself is amazing. The feel and fit in my ear is pretty good, and I have small ears. The tinnitus masking is fantastic and helped alleviate the ringing temporarily.
