They work for a while, but definitely tarnish super quickly and break. 3/5 stars because they do work for a short period of time and are nice to lengthen short necklaces, but it’s a bummer that they don’t hold up very long.

I had gotten this set of matching ankle bracelets and they were like 2 mm too short, so I ordered these. I did what another review suggested and painted them with clear nail polish, so hopefully that prevents them from getting tarnished. They aren’t something I would wear everyday anyway so I think they’ll hold up for a while.

Love these for the price and their functionality. I needed some extenders to combine a few necklaces together for a layering effect. These worked perfect. One of the clasps on one of them was a bit stuck and took some time for me to open it. I don’t think it’s real metal. Overall, for the price, love these!
