Q: I have very sensitive ears and metal allergy’s. Most target earrings and the “A New Day” brand is nickel- Free and says it on package. This kit does not say nickel-free. Can you please advise if the earring pieces included are nickel free? Thank you.

Purchased this to shorten a necklace that I love. The pliers are pretty cheap and aren’t super helpful or effective. I did use them to clamp down a piece and they did the trick. The chain links are sturdy and have yet to break on me! It’s nice to have lots of extras also. The case that it all comes in breaks easily so open it carefully.

I bought this kit to replace the back of my favorite “A New Day” earrings but the wing back earrings holes are far too small. It actually ended up bending my earring when I tried to push the back into it. I even tried fitting the back onto children’s earrings and it was still too small.
