⭐☆☆☆☆ I went into Target with one mission: buy a Champion soccer hair wrap. One item. One. Tiny. Mission. According to the Target app, my treasure was waiting for me on aisle B40. Narrator: It was not. After searching B40 like I was looking for buried treasure, I finally found an employee to help. This somehow turned into a full-blown Target conference. Employee #1 consulted Employee #2, who then consulted Employee #3. Together, after what I can only assume was extensive research, they reached a unanimous decision: “We don’t think it’s in the store.” An interesting conclusion considering the app showed multiple colors in stock. Their solution? “Maybe check the hair aisle.” You mean…the hair aisle on the complete opposite side of the store? The one I had already searched? Revolutionary. So I gave up and walked back to my car. That’s when my mom casually says, “I just ordered it for curbside pickup.” Excuse me…WHAT? Back into the store I went. Five minutes later… I found it. Not on B40. Not in the hair aisle. Not hiding in Narnia. It was sitting three aisles away from where the app insisted it was. So let’s review: • The app was wrong. • Three employees couldn’t find an item that absolutely existed. • My mom solved the mystery from the parking lot. • And I, with zero Target training and nothing but stubbornness, found it in under five minutes. Honestly, if Target is hiring inventory specialists, I think I’ve accidentally qualified. Thanks for the unexpected scavenger hunt. Next time I’ll just ask my mom.
