Nexcare Absolute Waterproof First Aid Tape, Tan, 1 in x 5 yds

Only medical tape that doesn't irrigate my skin. Stays put, and is truly waterproof. Only complaint is that for the price, the roll is very small.

This is the worse waterproof tape I have ever used. I had to find a way to cover up my zio patch (on dry skin) so it wouldn't get wet- the second I lifted up my arm, the tape separated and no matter what I did, the tape would not stay on. I would not recommend this to anyone.

I’m a barber hairstylist and I use it when I accidentally cut myself. The 2 biggest problems w bandaids for me is that they dont stop the bleeding when the cut is on the knuckle and they slip right off at the shampoo bowl. Wrap this around the bandaid and problem solved. Lasts all through multiple shampoos and hand washing.

I purched this waterproof tape to hold a medical device secure to my body. It did stick, for about an hour! Just my own perspiration caused it to release! I even shaved the area and wiped all oils off with alcohol before applying. Still about an hour and came loose!!! Product is next to worthless in this application!

Bought this tape for my son, he jammed his finger and needed to buddy tape it. He’s a teenager and was able to do it by himself, it’s not a big roll, so it packed easily in his bag, did everything we needed!

I used this tape to cover up my thumb area overnight, not even for a full 8hrs and upon waking there is a giant chemical burn from the glue on my skin. I don't have sensitive skin. I've never had this reaction from any bandaid or adhesive before. What on earth is in this glue to cause the burn on my skin!? This product is garbage.

Not sticky. Do not buy if you need it to sticky to anything.

Purchased this to cover a medical purchase whil showering. This tape does not stick at all. It was falling off on its own within 1 minute of application. I didn't even get into the shower before it fell off. I can't see what use the tape could ever be, I wish I could give it zero stars.

This tape is WONDERFUL for awkward cuts, incisions and wounds on fingers that shouldn’t get wet. It’s almost like stretchy, soft, foam that’s adhesive. The stretchiness makes it perfect to pull tight around angled spaces (like fingers), and the foam makes it soft and comfortable while feeling very protected. SO happy I came across this!

This tape does everything it says and was my favorite tape for years. I've used it with no issues before today. What looks like burn blisters, appeared on my leg where I had the tape placed. I've never had an issue before. I came to the reviews on this site to see if other people had an issue with the tape too. I read several other reviews that had the same problem. It's quite obvious there's inconsistencies with the manufacturing of this product. I won't buy this again.

I bought this for the first time and it is the last time. I put it on my knee and less than two hours later my knee had rashes and oozing blisters like a chemical burn. I have never had that happen before with any other tape. I ended up throwing it away and treating my knee with aloe.

Beware!!! This stuff definitely sticks but it gave me a horrible rash and blisters that won’t go away. It has been a nightmare since taking it off almost a week ago.

Not sure this can even be categorized as tape. It doesn’t adhere or stick at all. Flops right off as soon as it’s put on skin.

Not waterproof at all. Took a shower with it over a cut and it just flopped off mid shower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Tape from 3-M. This is great stuff. I managed to cut my thumb and I needed a bandage. The bandages wouldn't stay stick on my thumb. So I decided to try this Nextcare tape. Wow did it work! I wore it for 2 days, and it was still stuck! And my cut was almost healed. I could move my thumb just like always and actually forgot that the cut was there. I would highly recommend this Nextcare tape to anyone who needs to put a cover over a wound.

I recently injured my right ring finger and need to prepare some chicken for dinner. Knowing that I would be washing my hands frequently while preparing the chicken and wanting to keep my wound clean, I wrapped my finger with a band aid and the over wrapped it with the Nexcare absolute waterproof tape. I had washed my hands several times during the preparation process and the tape held up tremendously well. Even though it had gotten wet many times, it adhered to the band aid and did not lose its grip on my finger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great adhesive that is waterproof! It has enough hold that it gets the job done but also removes easily. I like that it is waterproof for added durability. It is flexible tape which is great for athletic use.

It sticks where you want it too and yet can be easily removed. I think this is a great addition to any first aid kit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a nice pair of hiking boots that give me a terrible blister on my right inside ankle every time I wear them. I was given a package of Nexcare Waterproof Tape to sample and decided to see if this tape would help. This tape is amazing! Not only is is waterproof, but it is soft, almost like mole skin. I put a strip on my ankle, went on a hike, and didn't get a blister! The tape has a soft slightly stretchy feel to it and was very comfortable. I completely forgot it was there. I love that it is waterproof as well. Normally when I hike I switch my boots for water shoes so I can stand in the lakes and rivers. This tape held up fantastically. I didn't have to put a new piece on, I was able to change from boots to sandals and back to boots without worrying about my ankle.
