A: My sister's outside fire pit holds the tank in the unit. My outside BBQ holds the tank in the unit. I bought this fire pit. It is beautiful but I am very dissappointed that it does not hide the tank.

Please note that this unit is designed to be used with a 20-pound propane tank, and it is essential to keep in mind that the propane tank should not be placed inside the unit. Q: Can glass be used instead of the lava rock?

A: Hello Kim, Thank you for your inquiry. We don’t recommend using glass for this fire pit, as it is manufactured and designed to be used with lava rocks only.
