Convenient, powerful
This travel steamer is very convenient. Not only does it steam fabric, it can be used to iron/press clothes as well. It gets hot very quickly. It cord is very long and collapes to fit in storage. It's perfect for travel or times I do t want to pull out the ironing board, etc. A full water tank steamed a pair of pants. I would recommend.

Portable
Very effective and easy to use. The item is portable you can detach the bottom to add water or screw it up to make it smaller. My clothes were on wrinkled in great time and I was very pleased with the results.

Remove wrinkles on-the-go
We were looking for a portable garmet steamer, so this was perfect timing. My family was first introduced to Chi from their flat irons and has been happy with the quality and performance of Chi over the years. This garmet steamer is no exception. The steamer fits in the included bag, which is always a nice addition. The red water tank portion easily releases from the top to fill with water (use distilled if possible). It also slides up to make the steamer more compact for storage. This steams quickly, and I love the iron feature, even though I won't use that feature as often. The steamer is comfortable to hold, and I can steam a garmet or two with one water tank. For travelers on business and pleasure, this is a must and I wish I had it sooner!

On extremely versatile steamer
The compact garment steamer by CHI far exceeded my expectations for it’s ability, despite it’s compact nature, to steam away wrinkles in clothing and curtains. The steam reached temperatures sufficient enough to get out the toughest wrinkles in thin clothing and thick curtains.

Good but not perfect
This works good, great for travel and at home I used the bag it came in to test it out, as you can see it was very wrinkled it didn't take long to heat up, and I didn't have to go over it too many times. One thing I didn't like about it is, you can't set it down if you need to grab something while you're in the middle of steaming or ironing. I wish it had a flat bottom so it could stand up on its own. But it did get the wrinkles out as you can see in the other picture.

Easy to use and travel with!
Really great steamer for all our travel wrinkles! We have been bought in to carrying a steamer with us for dance events and regular travel, but this one is even more mobile and easy to carry! I love the size and how simply we can carry it in the bag, too. It gets the job done quickly, as we noticed on one of my wife’s dresses recently. It’s very comfortable to hold and has a great cord length to maneuver around whatever setting we’re working in.

Hot steamer
First off it looks very well made. Be careful with the water tank, it gets some getting used to and before that it will be a bit messy. It took some time for real steaming to happen but once it did it was very hot. Again, you have to be careful until you get used to it—I got a bit too excited and burned two of my fingers a little. It’s more laborious than an actual iron but nice for traveling. It’s also pretty heavy. Finally, it takes quite some time to cool down so you guessed it—be careful!

Easy to use
This is super easy to use. It doesn’t hold a lot of water, but plenty for what I needed to use it for. Not overly loud at all, I have used much more louder hand steamers in the past. Overall, this is really great to have, especially since my daughter does competitions and needs to be wrinkle free.

I just love this Chi compact garment steamer. It's super easy to use, just fill the water and hit the button. It heats up quickly and leaves clothes looking fresh and wrinkle free. It's perfect for travel and it comes with a carrying case which is a nice add on.

Heavyweight travel steamer
The CHi Compact Garmet steamer was an unexpected success. The “twist to collapse” function works great taking it from a large/comfortable size and full water tank to a small travel ready device. Despite the travel size status, it’s still surprisingly heavy (has a ceramic head) and works great! The cord is long enough for extended reach and the handle and head are both durable. I’d definitely recommend! Note: I received a free sample in exchange for my review.

Fabulous compact steamer
I love this steamer! It heats up incredibly fast and works just as well as larger more expensive steamers I’ve had in the past. It is lightweight and easy to use. The instructions were simple, and it performed beautifully.

Effective but heavy travel steamer
This little steamer works really well, but it is quite top-heavy (weighed in at 1 lb 9oz on my kitchen scale). I used it on some very wrinkled fabric and the wrinkles released almost immediately! I was quite happy with the performance. It heats up quickly and even collapses down for more compact storage. The only downside is that you have to keep it upright in order for it to work properly, and I kept trying to turn it sideways. Operator error! Once I got the hang of it it was quick and effective.

I’m so happy with this collapsible travel steamer. It’s super easy to use and it works amazing. You just fill the water reservoir, twist it into the handle, plug it in and then wait for it to heat. Within minutes this nifty little steamer removed all the wrinkles from my top. I love that it’s lightweight, compact and absolutely perfect for travel.

This little steamer can really pack a punch. It collapses down to a smaller size when not in use for travel, though I use it at home more often. It produces enough steam to get out the wrinkles without leaving the clothes super wet. It works quickly and efficiently!

NOT DUAL VOLTAGE!
Do not buy if you need dual voltage for travel!! This is not dual voltage even though the specifications lists that the voltage is 100-240V. I just received it and it is only 120V. I bought this specifically for a trip to Italy and now I have to find another one, probably have to pay expedited shipping and have to be bothered with returning this one - because the item details are inaccurate!
