Q: Does it have a steam pause feature, or a power button to turn it off even if it is plugged in?

A: Hi, Not a steam pause feature, but you can turn the steam on and off with a button. And, no this particular version does not have a power button.

This does also have a steam on/off button as well, where the water stayed heated, but steam will not come out of the top if it's off...similar to a steam pause button. Overall a great steamer, my 3rd different kind and it's a keeper for sure!

A: Hi there! It's best to use distilled water. Regular tap water contains minerals that can cause buildup inside the steamer, which can reduce its performance over time. I hope that helps!

A: This steamer has 2 settings, Standard and Turbo. The Standard setting, along with the delicate fabric spacer attachment, can be used on delicate fabrics. The Turbo setting can be used for thicker materials like sweaters. You can use the steamer held away from delicate fabrics, or can press directly on less delicate fabrics. It's the best!

I bought this steamer, despite the higher price, because it was on a lot of "best steamers of 2024" lists. Unfortunately the steamer I received was obviously used - there was sticky residue on the front plate where steam comes out and there was still water in the resevior! I didn't even try it because I was afraid the residue might transfer to my clothes. I love being environmentally friendly and buying secondhand but not if I am paying the same price as for a new item. I don't know if the issue is Conair or Target but I was really disappointed.

This thing is so heavy!! Difficult to hold on to and an arm work out for sure. Doesn’t produce much steam, even on the highest setting. Takes 5-ever to get anything done and the reservoir is so small that it needs to be refilled after each garment.

I purchased the item about 2-3wks ago. I like how it gets the wrinkles out but the weight of this device alone is a workout. And to add insult to injury it's too top heavy with no good balance with or with out the water it's really awkward to handle. Also that steam creaser leaks if turbo is on for too long. And due to that awkward top weight causes your hand to slip closer to the steam and it gets hots....

I have been using for a month or so now, and felt it does exceotionally well what it supposed to. One drawback with all the handheld steamers is the back support when we hang the cloth being pressed, and our mindset of having an iron board which actually gives a helping hand. I wish there was an accessory which will not just hang but give us that additional hand to stretch and hold the cloth. Having said that, there is a bit of learning/unlearning this appliance. Also, if you seriously need a crease or address a crevice in the cloth properly, then we are left only to conventional method of ironing.. Good, Quality and worth the value

The steam stream is terrific, but the water tank is small. Having enough water in the tank to de-wrinkle a whole blouse is a tough challenge, and it requires frequent refills.

It worked fine for a few months but the motor just died and Conair won’t honor their one year warranty and replace the unit. Don’t bother and buy a Rowenta if you want quality.

I bought the Conair after years of using another good brand. The Conair works well on all my clothes. Only noticed difference for me was the weight in my hand as the water and unit is all hedgers my previous unit had a hose to lighter weight steam nozzle. Good product so far.

this is the mostly higly rated steamer for a reason, it heats it up fast, it puts out a lot of steam and works great! I bought this to use for a formal wedding, I didn't want to use an iron at the hotel. The size of the steamer means I can easily pack it for the weekend. Not to mention, Target has the best price for this steamer all other websites and stores were more expensive.

The garment steamer is truly awesome. It is quite easy to use on a multitude of attires. In my viewpoint, it is relatively efficient compared to the traditional iron in keeping clothes wrinkle-free; a considerable amount of time is saved when I am in a hurry during weekdays. One feature that I particularly love is that there are multiple steam settings to cater to different types of fabrics.
