Q: Hi, the red light is on to indicate that the iron is heating up. But it stays on. How do I know that the temperature is reached or the light is supposed to turn off when the temperature is reached?

Q: I see a red tape, possibly a joint when the cord is fully pulled out. Anyone else see an electrical tape used to insulate joints at the very end or is mine used? I haven't removed the tape yet to see if it is indeed a joint as the iron worked fine.

I got this iron around the holidays and just got around to opening and using it. I like how it irons but retractable cord doesn’t go in smoothly you have to keep juggling it for it to retract. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

The iron is leaking

I bought this iron three months ago and barely used it in the beginning, but this week I started to use it more, and it is leaking from the inside! With the steam mode, it leaks whenever I'm ironing the clothes. I already cleaned it, but didn't change anything. Probably a fabric problem, but I don't have the receipt anymore to return it since I wasn't having problem in the beginning.

Don’t expect more than a year out of this iron. I bought it back in 2022 trying to save a few bucks. I work from home, don’t iron regularly and it’s already given out. It won’t heat, won’t steam and leaks constantly. A waste of money. If I could do it over again, I’d invest in a better product.

Quality of the iron is great and gets 5 stars. It glides smoothly and wrinkles are gone. The hole where you put the water in for steam is of ample size and did not leak. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is for the cord only. The cord may need coaxing to retract all the way. Also, if the cord gets twisted, it will not retract. Other than that, I would definitely purchase again.

Bought this iron 5 months ago, and have had no problems with it until yesterday. Activated it out of sleep mode, and even though the light came on to indicate it was on, it did't get hot. Move it to another outlet and tried it again, and the same thing! So looks like I lost my money on this one. Beware!!!

I’ve had this iron for almost a year and a half. The metal plate has gotten very dirty. I looked it up online on how to clean it and cleaned it less than a month ago. I was ironing and it got a stain on my shirt. The metal plate is already dirty again. I will have to buy a new iron to replace this one.

Picks up fabric residue

I iron most days of the week and while this iron does the job, it picks up fabric residue off from darker fabrics and then transfers it to lighter clothing and it is very tough to get out. It is rough to wipe off the iron and tough to get the black out of lighter colored clothes. I am back to purchase a new/different iron.

It’s been probably 20 years since I have bought a new iron. This iron is great! I love the retractable cord. One of her reasons my old iron quit working is because it was a wrap cord. It is quite a bit larger than my old iron so I have to store it face down. It does have a nifty sealed door so no water will spill out storing it this way.
