  • A: Unfortunately there is no auto shutoff on this iron and it’s easy to forget to turn it off. Other than that, it’s a great little iron! It gets the job done and is very light weight. But if they could put an auto shutoff in a future model I would buy that one instead.

Q: can this iron be used for crafting?

  • A: I use it for quilting - it doesn’t get creases completely out of fabrics but it does press seams sufficiently. A larger and hotter iron does better at getting creases out of fabrics. But this one is good enough for general use. Except there is no auto shutoff so just keep that in mind.

    Avoid it

    This iron isn’t great. The color of the clothes come off onto the iron and has ruined my son’s shirt. My fiancé complains of it getting stuck as well. I wouldn’t recommend the old $20 one I had 7 years ago was amazing but it stopped working and got this one thinking it would be the same but was a disappointment.

    Needs to be discontinued
