To help prevent mineral buildup, empty the water tank after each use and use distilled or purified water, as this model does not have a self-clean button.

    Does not work at all. Does not work on cotton, does not work on silk, does not work if I use the steamer because it leaks as if i poured a glass of water on my clothes, it is REALLY bad. I wish I read the reviews before purchasing.

    Set off co2 alarm

    This has been a horrible iron from day one. The plate became discolored on the first use and left markings on my clothes. Second use it set of the co2 alarm. I don’t think this item is safe and I will be returning

    Be carefull what you purchase by delivery

    I received this iron today and it imhas been used! There is a sticky substance on the iron and it is dented.

    I hate this iron! I turn it on to warm up then go get what I want to iron. If I don’t come right back it shuts off and I have to unplug it and plug it back in. It’s hard to find a good auto shutoff with metal sole plate anymore. I iron my outfit every day so I want an iron that doesn’t suck.

    Dumb design

    This is the dumbest design. You need to add water by laying the unit flat but must hold the unit vertically to see the water level. So high risk of overfilling. Water level is extremely difficult to see. Didn’t even bother turning it on. Will be returning.

    Disappointing

    So disappointing! I'm trying to replace my Rowenta iron from 15 years ago. This is far from the kraftsman ship I have grown to love. Do not purchase. Drips like crazy. I called corporate and followed their recommendation but no change.

    Powerful Steam

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Rowenta Access Steam iron is exactly what my wardrobe needed. I have never ironed as much as I have since I received this iron. The steam technology and 300 micro holes put my old iron to shame. The sole plate easily glides across every fabric surface. Since I am primarily ironing cotton, I’m operating my Rowenta Access Steam Iron at the highest setting with steam, and it has performed well and met my expectations. I am very happy with this product, and I look forward to many years of ironing with my Rowenta Access Steam Iron. Note: 1-You lay the iron flat on the sole plate to fill the water reservoir. 2-It can be challenging to see if you’ve reached or surpassed the water fill line unless in bright light. I wish it were easier to see the water. 3-The vertical steam feature is strong and works well, but it is not a continuous stream. You get one powerful burst of steam with each push of the steam button. 4-The dial could stand to be a bit easier to turn

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let’s start with positives: This iron is beautiful! It looks sleek, easy to set up, not too heavy and heats up quickly. It’s very easy to fill with water and I love that you can switch the steam function on and off super easily. On the highest setting (cotton/linen) it works well to get out smaller wrinkles. Negatives: If your fabric is harshly folded, it won’t get the crease completely out, even on the highest settle, Overall a good iron to use for home sewing projects.
