    Love my Rowenta

    Rowenta SteamForce Pro iron is fantastic! I have used Rowena products for years now and appreciate when a strong iron presses the wrinkles out of my cotton clothing .

    Not happy

    This iron is too heavy it make a loud clicking noise, I was told it the pump and normal. It moves the fabric and take me twice as long to iron. My Rowenta of 15 years was far superior and I am quite disappointed in this model. Also the boots leaver is so difficult to press and when do press the boost you are changing the heat settings. 1 star wish I could give zero.

    A Disappointment

    I am quite disappointed with this iron. This is the fourth Rowenta iron I have purchased through the years. I have enjoyed years of using Rowenta irons before they started leaking water. However I have used my new Rowenta iron twice now: once to iron some flat linen items and once to iron three dress shirts. On both occasions, this new iron randomly leaked water while ironing. It is most frustrating to me to be ironing an item and then have a larger drop of water come out of the iron.

    Think twice and review details before buying

    I thought I had done my research and was treating myself to an upgrade for my sewing room. Unfortunately, the steam force pro weighs in at a full 5 lbs--very heavy for a 68 yr old with a torn rotator cuff. Additionally, the instructions recommend you starch only the wrong side of fabric than you are ironing on--that is very inconvenient and frankly awkward to accomplish. You can't actually turn the iron off from the mode switch--it will only turn itself off after sitting 8 minutes/etc. You can't control the steam--it's always on above the synthetic level and some fusible interfacings, for example, want a higher heat setting with no steam. Bottom line, it's not a fit for my needs.

    This iron is great because it works =, my older one just finally stopped working after 12 years so i do believe I got my money's worth out of it this is why a bought another ROWENTA - Very dependable even over time. This new iron looks like it will last a long time

    Nic iron but what about the steam??

    I bought a Rowentta iron years ago for my wife. It was amazing! Steam like crazy! Took out wrinkles. It died ..so I bought this one. Nice weight heats up quickly. NO LEAKS. But you have to pull a trigger for the steam. And still that Steam level is "muhh!" Bring back the monster Steam Rowenta. Without the leaks...

    The Rowenta SteamForce Pro Steam Iron did not meet my expectations. The unit is noticeably heavy, which makes it difficult to handle during longer ironing sessions. Additionally, when I used it for the first time, it emitted an unpleasant odor that was concerning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this iron.

    Not impressed with the steam

    I made this purchase in March of 2026. It irons well, and heats up pretty fast. It is a heavy iron. It has a good base. However the boost Steamforce trigger/button is not good at all. It barely puts out any steam at all. This is my 4 Rowenta iron. It’s my last. The durability isn’t what it used to be.

    Rowenta SteamForce Pro Steam Iron

    Great easy to use steam iron. Iron has a nice weight to it which allows it remove wrinkles easily. Soleplate glides over the garment. Best part is that it's NOT made in China.

    HATE this iron.

    I hate this iron….it’s heavy and bulky and hard to handle. It’s nothing like the previous Rowentas I’ve owned. I wish I hadn’t wasted my money on it. The fabric setting light is so dull, it’s practically unreadable!!!

    Perfect Steam Iron

    I had old version (Rowenta) over 25 years old. Until I purchased this replacement steam iron. I did not realize I was overworking myself. Now the ironing is smooth and easy. The weight the iron allows me to glide over the fabric and look professional when completed. I would purchase this steam iron again.

    Professional-like iron with excellent steam

    I have always had average irons. My trip to Australia changed all that when we had a similar iron in terms of steam capacity. This iron has massive steam capacity and makes ironing a breeze.

    Satisfied with quality

    Quality and good performance. I've been using rowenta for over a decade. I was disappointed the last one lasted less than 10 years. This one has some improvements though. More solid footing for standing upright. Better steam dispersal with holes on the faceplate. I hope this lasts a long time. Shirts come out wrinkless.

    Not worth the price.

    This iron takes forever to heat up. The price for this item is too high for the minimal performance that it provides. It takes forever to get hot and then not much steam is generated when using the product.

    The heat controls are frustrating

    I’ve had this iron for over a year. The weight is excellent, heat plate is top notch. My issue is your hand has to be in a certain position to use the steam function. That position is over the heat controls! When I’m ironing sheets or linen tablecloths, I use the steam trigger and I inevitably change the settings from the highest to the lowest because the control gets inadvertently touched. I hate this iron, despite the wonderful qualities. I’m swearing at it right now with a 120” linen tablecloth.
