This is a heavy iron. It has a pump that pushes out steam giving a better steam output. Working great-using it of one month.

It runs with a low humming sound that feels very high quality and never gets annoying. Filling the water tank is super easy, and it holds enough fluid to get through several shirts without constant refills. The heavy build feels like solid metal and premium plastic built for lasting durability, gliding smoothly over every wrinkle. Cleaning the soleplate is simple with a damp cloth, and routine maintenance like the anti scale system keeps it pumping out intense steam week after week.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh wow! This iron is pretty incredible. Set up is very easy. Water goes into the reservoir drip free. I love how you can see the water fill up as you’re pouring. There are several different modes that you can choose from, which you can easily switch with one button. The iron definitely heats up pretty quickly. I like how it knows when you’re ironing versus when you put it down. I feel like that is great for safety and it has great safety features. The steam feature is great too. I actually usually prefer a steamer, but this has great coverage, especially in little hard to reach areas of clothing. The booklet explains everything and shows you exactly where everything is. It definitely is a process to iron and will take some time than just using a handheld steamer. It is very easy to store and takes up minimal space. The only downside of this is that it is quite heavy and I feel like maybe the cord could be just a little bit longer. If you have trouble with strength, this might be a little bit difficult for you to work with. Otherwise, this is like an industrial iron! Works great!

This did not come with directions other than a picture of where to fill the tank. I cannot figure out how to turn the thing off so I have to just pull the plug while it is on thus creating a spark every time. I also can't figure out how to scroll to the self cleaning option. Not to mention the water spots that wind up all over my fabric when I put the iron face down. I have always liked my previous 2 Rowentas so this one surprised me. Looking for another new iron that has as many steam holes as Rowenta. This one was a waste of my money

The Rowenta SteamForce Pro + Steam Iron, in my opinion, is the best this company has ever produced. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very good iron to purchase

Love this iron. Had an old Rowenta iron which worked great until my kid knocked the iron over breaking the plastic cap sealing water tank. This iron performs so much better. Only need one or two passes with this baby.

how can anyone compete with Rowenta? They can't. 18 years and this is my second iron first one had to replace because I dropped it and cracked the return for the cord so it would not stand up mind you the iron still worked perfectly but we bought new washer and dryer and this iron was the same color scheme so match made in heaven,

Works beautifully and is very easy to use but it is much heavier than the Rowenta iron it replaced. It may actually be too heavy for some …

I have had problems with the handle. When I grip the handle it sometimes flips to another setting. Also, the cord gets in the way when it rotates forward.

I did not like the balance or the cramped grip on the iron.

Love it! Very sturdy. Handle is a little different, but easy to adapt to.

Rowenta SteamForce Pro iron is fantastic! I have used Rowena products for years now and appreciate when a strong iron presses the wrinkles out of my cotton clothing .

This iron is too heavy it make a loud clicking noise, I was told it the pump and normal. It moves the fabric and take me twice as long to iron. My Rowenta of 15 years was far superior and I am quite disappointed in this model. Also the boots leaver is so difficult to press and when do press the boost you are changing the heat settings. 1 star wish I could give zero.

I am quite disappointed with this iron. This is the fourth Rowenta iron I have purchased through the years. I have enjoyed years of using Rowenta irons before they started leaking water. However I have used my new Rowenta iron twice now: once to iron some flat linen items and once to iron three dress shirts. On both occasions, this new iron randomly leaked water while ironing. It is most frustrating to me to be ironing an item and then have a larger drop of water come out of the iron.

I thought I had done my research and was treating myself to an upgrade for my sewing room. Unfortunately, the steam force pro weighs in at a full 5 lbs--very heavy for a 68 yr old with a torn rotator cuff. Additionally, the instructions recommend you starch only the wrong side of fabric than you are ironing on--that is very inconvenient and frankly awkward to accomplish. You can't actually turn the iron off from the mode switch--it will only turn itself off after sitting 8 minutes/etc. You can't control the steam--it's always on above the synthetic level and some fusible interfacings, for example, want a higher heat setting with no steam. Bottom line, it's not a fit for my needs.

This iron is great because it works =, my older one just finally stopped working after 12 years so i do believe I got my money's worth out of it this is why a bought another ROWENTA - Very dependable even over time. This new iron looks like it will last a long time

I bought a Rowentta iron years ago for my wife. It was amazing! Steam like crazy! Took out wrinkles. It died ..so I bought this one. Nice weight heats up quickly. NO LEAKS. But you have to pull a trigger for the steam. And still that Steam level is "muhh!" Bring back the monster Steam Rowenta. Without the leaks...

The Rowenta SteamForce Pro Steam Iron did not meet my expectations. The unit is noticeably heavy, which makes it difficult to handle during longer ironing sessions. Additionally, when I used it for the first time, it emitted an unpleasant odor that was concerning. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this iron.

I made this purchase in March of 2026. It irons well, and heats up pretty fast. It is a heavy iron. It has a good base. However the boost Steamforce trigger/button is not good at all. It barely puts out any steam at all. This is my 4 Rowenta iron. It’s my last. The durability isn’t what it used to be.

Does not produce steam automatically would not buy again
