Oliso ProPlus Smart Iron Pink: Ceramic Sole Plate, Automatic Shut-Off, 1800W, Comfort-Grip, Vertical Steam, Anti-Drip

I’ve been using the Oliso ProPlus Orchid iron in my sewing space, and it’s quickly become one of those tools I reach for without even thinking. It heats up fast, holds a consistent temperature, and glides smoothly over fabric, which makes a big difference when I’m pressing seams over and over again. It’s powerful, but still feels comfortable to handle—not overly heavy or awkward during longer sewing sessions. One of the things I appreciate most is how reliable it is. I don’t have to second guess whether it’s hot enough or performing the way I need it to—it just works. When you’re in the middle of a project, that kind of consistency really matters. Overall, it feels like a high-quality tool that’s made with sewists in mind, and it’s been a great addition to my setup.

I am a loyal Oliso consumer. This is my second Oliso, and it is great - I especially like the longer power cord, the pointy new “nose”, and the diamond soleplate. Highly recommend :-)

My burst of steam doesn’t work but I do love my iron anyways!

The iron is very nice but wish they would last more than a year. I am not hard on them as I iron once a week just for my clothes. I also use it for making baby quilts but I only make one or 2 a year. My 1st one lasted almost 3 years but my 2nd & 3rd lasted a year. I appreciate that they were replaced at no cost but don't understand why they don't last longer.

I LOVE this iron! The steam is great and I love the auto lift feature. It also has a really nice weight to it. This is a very sturdy, high steam and just overall smart iron. I would definitely recommend it.

This iron is outstanding and it’s a quilter’s true tool for making them in excellence.

Like the iron but think removing the water when finished is awkward and takes too long. It takes several times and I have trouble getting all the water removed.

Absolutely love the ProPlus iron and especially customer service. First the iron stopped its steam function. Customer service walked me through reset instructions but to no avail. Got a warranty replacement in just a few days. After a day the replacement would not turn on. Again after following instructions we returned the iron and I got another replacement within days. Great company. They stand by their products. Thank you.

I have had to have this iron replaced twice. Not sure why a $200 iron keeps having issues. Expected more from this iron.

The one I purchased as a replacement for my original Oliso was not great. It rusted within less than 3 months. The Oliso support team was amazing to deal with and replaced it under warranty. Sadie was especially wonderful to deal with! I love this product and recommend it highly.

I love the way the feet extend and retract. That saves a lot of wrist bending by not having to set the iron upright every time.

The first Oliso Iron I received worked three weeks before it died. I was not impressed with what I had to go through to get it replaced. First of all, I couldn't take it back to the Walmart I purchased it from. Customer Service (or Support as the Oliso people referred to it. ) was not helpful. Their response was slow and they had me go through steps that took three days to complete because they were so slow to respond. Additionally, they continued to insist that I had to send the Iron back to them. They would not consider sending me a replacement until they received the Iron that didn't work. It was going to take over a month to resolve the situation. At least that is what I was told. That isn't what happened. They actually mailed me a new Iron almost immediately after they received notice that the dead Iron was on the way to them. I was surprised. The reason I gave them 4 stars is they finally did the right thing. The Iron I have now is great. Lots of steam and I love the ceramic sole plate. Ceramic sole plates offer superior, gentle gliding and even heat. They are perfect for delicate fabrics but I like them for cotton fabrics, too.
