Q: Will this be able to go on a cruise as it resembles a flat iron?

submitted by wilbude - 1 year ago
  • A: This would be a large item to travel with. It would take up as much space as a pair of adult cowboy boots, for example.

submitted byKinlowKids - 1 year ago
  • A: Yes! This has been a cruise favorite! We definitely recommend double-checking with your cruise line to be sure, but many customers love bringing it along for their trips!

Q: When do I add the water ?

submitted by Carminla - 1 month ago
  • A: Great question! The water tank is only used for steam. If you’re ironing without steam, you can leave the tank empty.

Q: Thinking of getting this to use with chiffon bridesmaid dresses. Would it be OK to use with that?

submitted by MAS - 1 month ago
  • A: Yes! ✨ Chiffon can typically be pressed on our Silk setting. We always recommend checking the garment’s care label first and testing on a small, inconspicuous area before doing the entire dress, especially with delicate fabrics.

Q: Is this TSA approved?

submitted by Mom - 7 months ago
  • A: Yes, it is TSA-approved. For air travel, we recommend fully emptying the water chamber before packing the Press in your carry-on or checked bag. Once it’s dry, you’re good to go for smooth, wrinkle-free travels.

Q: What kind of water needs to be used?

submitted by Robinbird - 9 months ago
  • A: We recommend using filtered water for best results, but the Nori Press is tap water compatible. Filtered water helps reduce mineral buildup over time and keeps the Press performing at its best. If filtered water isn’t available, regular tap water can be used.

Q: ForCanC Can the iron be used one-sided for large items such as tablecloths?

submitted by Sacy - 11 months ago
  • A: The Press is designed to be used with both sides together, rather than one sided. For larger items like tablecloths, we recommend starting in the middle of the fabric and then working your way outward, section by section. This helps smooth wrinkles evenly and makes larger pieces much easier to manage.

Useful, but not better than an iron and board.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The iron is packaged quite well and is light to use. It does feel a bit cheap as a result. If you don’t have a small iron or ironing board, this likely would be ideal for you. The problem with it however is that by pulling on the fabric to iron it straight, it really doesn’t get rid of all of the wrinkles. In the photos the left side is before, the right side is after using it for 3 minutes. It also holds a tiny amount of water, so be aware if you have a large item to iron. It’s not a bad idea, but personally I will stick to a small iron and board.

Too awkward to be practical. Who can I give this to. A regular iron is 4x better

    Easy to use & convenient!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Say bye to those wrinkly clothes, this product is great to get those wrinkles out! It reminds me of a hair straightener for your clothes. You can either lay your clothing flat or hang it on a hanger to get started. No ironing board is required which also makes it super easy to travel with! I like that it contains 6 different fabric settings to ensure that you are using the perfect temperature for the item you are trying to dewrinkle. It's easy to use, portable & convenient!

Harder to use and not as effective as trad iron

I honestly have it a fair shot. Tried it more than 10 times. Diff settings, diff materials, diff surfaces. Not once did I get all of the wrinkles out. And worse, it’s so awkward to hold and hurts my hand and wrist to use. I know it was developed by women in their 20s so I imagine arthritis wasn’t taken into account when tested. Photos are of items I just tried to iron. I passed over the fabric more than a dozen times! And yes, I am using the “linen” setting and steam setting.

Good for travel and detail ironing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great travel iron! Especially if you need little details pressed. It’s packaged nicely and would make a nice gift. It’s kind of like a hair straightener for your clothes. It’s holds just enough water to do one to two articles of clothing. It also heats up very fast. It is a bit clunky though. I will say it doesn’t replace a steamer or iron fully because I found it hard to get the center of clothing without scrunching up the top or bottom material. Overall I’d use it more on the go or for fixing difficult clothing details that a steamer or iron couldn’t fully do alone.

    Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a pleasant surprise. I took it with me while traveling and was able to press my clothes in no time. It came in handy when needing multiple items ironed because I was able to run from one bedroom to the other in the hotel. The kids clothes were in need of help and this got the job done.

    New travel must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m obsessed with this for travel! I usually try and use my flat iron and this is so much better? The arms are really long so they reach better and the steam option is simple and fantastic! I love how compact it is for travel. The only thing that could make it better is if it locked close for travel. It’s very simple to operate and I love having my clothes look fresh when I travel, this makes all the difference!

    Not Practical!

NOT PRACTICAL. Do not get - too expensive and difficult to actually iron the middle of the garment. Works well for my toddlers clothes but adult clothing is hit or miss!! Definitely do not recommend.

    Not Practical

I tried to use this iron several times. It’s only practical for my toddlers clothes. Any item like adult shirts or skirts, forget it. It is such a headache trying to get to the middle of the garment. I don’t understand the hype with this at all. DO NOT BUY. SAVE YOUR MONEY! Great advertising but I really don’t understand how people find this useful.

An iron made for bigger and stronger people than me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The box for this iron says that it's "travel ready," but I found it to be a bit large and heavy for packing. It's about 15" long and weighs about 2 pounds empty. The instructions recommend that you use a Nori "fabric facial" product (sold separately, unfortunately) to fill the steam chamber, although the booklet also says that you can use distilled water. The box notes that no ironing board is required, and the instructions recommend that you iron or steam your garment while it's on a hanger, but I found it to be a bit awkward to iron my shirt while it was hanging since I was trying to keep the shirt still with one hand while holding the iron in the other hand. And the iron is a bit big and heavy to maneuver with just one hand -- or it was for me, at least. Overall, I like the idea of this product, but the execution doesn't quite work for me. I would prefer something smaller and lighter and that doesn't require special products for the steam chamber.

    Its ratger difficult

I purchased this on GMA deals i was excited then highly disappointed as its geavy, hard for someone who isn’t strong handed or has arthritis. Easier if you lay the garment flat on a surface ( like an ironing board) so really whats it taking the place of? Also the water reserve tank holds enough for one dress at best. I have extreme buyers remorse

Not very ergonomic and it is heavy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging and material is awesome and it’s easy to understand how to use it. But it is really heavy! It is not ergonomic at all and my fingers got cramped and are still sore after ironing for shirts. I think this is for not a lot of wrinkles. Definitely would not recommend for lots of ironing. I think it’s meant for smaller little wrinkles.

Great for touch ups and travel!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the chance to use this steam iron for a little bit now and it really is one of those things that I never would’ve thought I needed until I had it. It doesn’t take up a whole Lotta room so it’s really easy to travel with and really great to have with you when you’re on the go.. heat up quickly and gets stubborn wrinkles out of all of the things I end up, just shoving into my suitcase. The quality is really nice, especially for what the price point is. I am very happy with this steam iron definitely recommend.

    Read between the lines.

This product sucked me in with the creators using it. I am a veteran who loves a good press. Especially when I travel on the road for work. This is not it. It is cumbersome, has to be refilled frequently and leaves waves which I then need to use an iron to get rid of. I really wanted it to work on sleeves. It was horrible and ended up using the old steamer to accomplish the tasks. Very disappointed.
