Q: Will this be able to go on a cruise as it resembles a flat iron?
submitted by wilbude - 7 months ago
A: This would be a large item to travel with. It would take up as much space as a pair of adult cowboy boots, for example.

Does not last
I loved this iron but it unfortunately stopped working after 6 months and Target wouldn’t exchange.

Love it!
I’ve been using the Nori Press for months now and really love it! It’s easy to use, compact, and perfect for travel. I especially appreciate that you don't need an ironing board — a big plus if you’re short on space. If you’re looking for a simple, user-friendly way to keep clothes wrinkle-free, this is IT!

Madly in love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow wow wow. Honestly whoever invented this is a straight up genius. I have never in my life been an ironer. But now i have no problem pulling this out for a quick wrinkle removal. How amazing, how next level! I feel like an incridbly sophistqmicated human being now

Easy to use!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing is really cool. It’s small and compact and easy to use. You just out in water and let it steam away the wrinkles. This is also pretty quick to do if you’re in a rush. Love it!

A solid iron substitute
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I had stopped ironing entirely because it’s such a pain to pull out the ironing board, fill everything up with water, wait for it to heat up…I was reliant on my steamer instead. I love this product. It fixed a problem I had—getting pleats or creases where I wanted them without having to do the full ironing setup. This was a genius invention and I’m so glad to have it in my house. It’s super easy to use, lightweight enough that I could bring it traveling if needed, and works effectively.

Senior person over 65 use.
Works ok. Have to go over same area multiple times. EXTREMELY HEAVY!!!!! Must use both hands to hold up because of weight. Would be nice if it came with a protective cover. Considering returning because of heaviness. Cord could be longer. Very short. Would not recommend if you don't have strong arms or hands its heavier than standard iron.

Should include the suggested steaming liquid
Works ok. If you were a size 2t this would be amazing. The design makes it difficult to press anything that is more than 8” long because of the flat iron design. The fabric needs to be scrunched up between the arms to properly press it. I was also very frustrated by the fact that they recommend you use the steaming liquid for best results but do not include it. With a $128.00 purchase price you think they could at least include a sample. Especially since the water reservoir is only about 2oz. More effort than an iron. It may be helpful for odd sleeves or a quick touch up but so is an iron.

Very good little travel iron
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nori Press is very easy to use. It is a very similar concept with the hair straightener but for the clothes. It is very light and great to bring when you travel. It has a different setting for different types of fabrics. It has two metal plates that when you press together in the fabric it will smooth out the wrinkle part. I like that it has a pointed tip so it is easy to iron the collar part. And one thing that I really like about it is the steam. Just pour a little amount of distilled water in the reservoir. It really helps a lot to smoothen out the wrinkle part of the clothes. I also like the storage/box that comes with it. It looks more fancy in the box and it helps to easily store it.

No ironing board necessary!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Somedays (let’s be honest, I mean most days) I’m too lazy to get out the ironing board, the iron, then to have to setup the board and put it away after the iron cools off. I can’t often be bothered. The Nori is a game changer with no ironing board needed.

Disappointed
Waste of money. It’s very heavy and can’t reach some part of the cloth.

Quick and Easy Wrinkle Fixer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Nori Press lately, and honestly, it’s been such a nice little upgrade to my routine. It heats up fast, it’s easy to hold, and it smooths out the wrinkles on my clothes without me having to drag out an ironing board. It’s perfect for quick touch-ups, especially on shirts and collars. It’s not as strong as a full iron for really stubborn creases, but for everyday use and travel, it does the job really well.

Convenient but Awkward
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Nori Press from Influenster for testing. My first thoughts upon opening the box , I noticed that the product was actually somewhat dirty and I had to wipe it off first before using. The press itself is a good size for holding in your hands and essentially works similar to straightening your hair. The compartment for steam is pretty small, so if you use a lot of steam you’ll have to replenish that more often than you think. I think the Nori Press is super convenient and great for travel , but it’s kind of awkward to use on larger pieces of clothing or other laundry items. I think the directions that are sent with the product need to be much more thorough with a better explanation of how to use the product. I had to search online to understand how to actually use it because the directions are vague. Honestly, I’d rather have a regular iron for use at home , but I’ll definitely use this for travel.

Easy and Effective
More motivated to iron now that I don’t have to worry about an ironing board and the hassle of the traditional way of ironing. I like how easy it is to use and I feel it is just as effective as a normal iron. I do agree that it doesn’t hold enough water for a single garment but I’m used to using a spray bottle when I iron anyways. The pros far outweigh the inconvenience of that.

Small easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nori Press is a small, lightweight iron/steamer that’s easy to use, safe on most fabrics thanks to its multiple heat settings, and even shuts off on its own. It works great for quick touch-ups, travel, and small spaces, but it’s not the best for heavy fabrics or big ironing jobs. Overall, it’s a super convenient option for light, everyday wrinkle fixes, while a full-size iron is still better for tougher tasks.

Need practice
I've only used once and will take some getting used to. It suggested hanging to use in clothes, but I needed to lay shirt flat. Hoping it turns out to be less work than an ironing board.

Great for on the go steaming
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This item was received in exchange for an honest review and I was excited for it to arrive. It didn’t live up to my mind’s preconceived expectations though. I have used an industrial steamer before and also several irons with steaming functionality. This product addresses a small niche of need for frequent travelers looking to quickly press items, the occasional delicate fabric that must hang dry, linens, silks, etc. The fabrics type button is reassuring that clothes will not be destroyed, but the water chamber is too small to make it fully worth the hassle of setting the nori press up. It is quiet, requires little maintenance or cleaning when used with distilled water. However, It will likely sit on my shelf collecting dust. This is a bit disappointing because it could be such a vital routine piece of laundry day with a few tweaks. Is it built for quality? Yes. Can it fix a quick need? Yes. Does it fit my laundry needs and lifestyle? Unfortunately…no.

Handy and convenient
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great product. While it doesn’t work as well as a traditional iron, it does come close and leaves clothes looking sleek. It is much more convenient as well and doesn’t require a cumbersome ironing board!
