A: If “Reset” appears and beeping, there may be hair tangled. Turn off the curler, remove tangled hair slowly, and make sure any excess hair is cleaned from the barrel. Turn device back on and use again.

I never write reviews, but I am so annoyed with this product. I paid a lot of money for something that didn't work from the very day I bought it; as soon as I turned it on, a "reset" message appeared, and I was never able to use it. What a waste of money—this has taught me never to buy anything from this brand again.

I was so excited to get the LAVA 1.25 Inch Volcanic Ceramic Spin N Curl and tried it right away on my long hair. First use felt a tiny bit tricky as I figured out the sections and timing, but it's honestly super easy once you get the hang of it. This does not work for me at all. I've used it once and did nothing. I have long thick hair, so I think that's the issue. Shorter hair might work better. My hair is down past my lower back. Definitely not worth the money.

Not for thick hair
I wanted to love this, but knew that it might not work well for me due to the thickness of my hair. I had to section my hair into such small portions to get it to wrap around the barrel correctly and it would jam up frequently increasing curl time drastically. I also tried it out on my daughter and she was over it before I was halfway through her hair, begging me to go back to the curling wand because this would jam up and pull her hair. We eventually got rid of it because it wasn't worth the hassle.

Hair was drying out and almost burning
Before I purchased and read reviews and finaly decided to purchase was super excited to try it ,I have only used a handful of times and at different temperatures but each time i use it completly dried hair out and had a burning smell to it ,I contacted store I purchased and was told because I used it 3 times I could not return so unfortunately I have a curler that I can't use I really do wish it was different
