Chicken Broth - 32oz - Good & Gather™

First let me say that this post is just for public knowledge since Target doesn’t seem to be taking this seriously. On Saturday, I was making chicken soup. Put all the ingredients in, same ingredients I’ve always used. Let the soup simmer and tasted the soup. I have never tasted anything so foul in all of my life. Thinking there was something wrong with my taste buds, I had my husband taste it as well. He immediately spit it out. After some investigating, he discovered it was the chicken broth. He cut open the container and inside with the most putrid thing I’ve ever seen. Not even sure what it is, but looks like an animal carcass. He immediately called the number on the box to let them know and they did make a report. I did receive a follow up call asking if I received a refund. Are you kidding? Who cares about a refund, I want to know what we ingested. We were informed that the manufacturer handles product complaints and we needed to wait 7 days for a response from them. We are still waiting to be contacted. Just want to let customers know to check this product thoroughly before consumption. Pictures included, but be prepared to be instantly nauseated

Open !!! I ordered through drive up service I blame this on target for selling a product that probably was opened & returned. Liquid was only half full.

I tried most of the brands of broth and was only buying Market Pantry. You never know what to expect when a brand makes changes. The new G&G is even more tasty at the same price. Good job Target.

this chicken broth is disgusting. I bought 5 of them because they were on sale for .99 cents (should’ve been a red flag in hind sight lol). Then, when i was making a dish i used it and when i went to go smell the dish it smelled horrible!! then i smelled the other boxes and then realized they all smelled like that. Do not buy these

Simple and very effective. Good to make soups and gives a very strong and pleasant taste to vegetables.

This is this 2nd time I’ve bought this and the inner seal is broke . This time I bought 5, all them busted.

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Received 2 in a row that were extremely moldy, completely molded around the top/lid. Called and they did not seem very concerned at all.

I poured my brand new container of chicken broth into my crock pot, once I emptied the entire container I thought it was weird it still felt like it hand something in it. I cut the top open and found a huge chunk of what I believe to be mold?! No idea what it is. I cut open my second container and it also had the same thing. I will NOT be buying this again!

It was sealed but when I opened it, it had an odd smell. Cut open the box and it was full of mold!! Had to throw out our entire dinner since I had started pouring it into the pot. Disgusting!! Do not buy.

I’m not sure about these five star reviews, in my opinion, I think they are bogus just like the label, chicken broth. As soon as I opened it, I smelled a chemical smell. I didn’t even bother to taste it. The best place for this is the trash. Unbelievable, sad excuse for chicken broth.

A good broth for a good price. It’s my go-to when cooking! Flavorful!

This product is comparable to the name brand without the name brand price tag. I love the good and gather brand!

All 3 packages I bought smell like lemon pledge. The broth looks like water. I threw them out. Won’t buy again.
