WHY? WHY? WHY? Echoing that the new recipe is godawful. Thin, gritty, watery. There is no getting used to this swill. You ruined absolute perfection. Guess I'll buy Disodium Phosphate and start making my own.
Hate the new recipe

I've never before felt compelled to review a product before, but the change in recipe has forced my hand. This oatmilk used to be a great product and my favorite of the non-dairy options on the market, but the new recipe tastes terrible. I will be switching back to other brands until/unless the original recipe is brought back.
This change was not good.

Adding my voice to the public outcry - I likewise have relied on this oat milk for years, it was always the best, worked perfectly for frothing and steaming for espresso drinks at home. I have been feeling gaslit for the last couple of weeks struggling with terrible results, questioning whether it was a problem with my machine, or perhaps some personal moral and physical failing on my part. I de-scaled my espresso machine. I went back to the store and hunted around in the depths of the refrigerator case for a carton with a different expiration date in the hopes it was a one-time batch issue. I literally stopped someone else in the aisle buying the same oat milk to ask if they noticed a difference. I finally recognized the "natural recipe" label and grew suspicious that this might be indicative of a deeper conspiracy to change this beloved product permanently. I love healthy ingredients and I support responsibly produced and sourced ingredients, but please figure out how to bring back the physical properties of the previous recipe!!! This change would have been better made as a separate product, so that folks could have a choice of whether to switch or not based on personal values.
Not a fan of the new recipe

Chobani Extra Creamy had been my go to oat milk for lattes for years- I loved the way it tasted, how creamy it was and how well it frothed. I’ve been disappointed in how the new recipe has completely changed things- it’s watery, thin, and does not froth at all (just some bubbles)- and have started to look for a new go to oat milk.

The old recipe was amazing. I am so disappointed that they changed the formula that has made my morning coffees so enjoyable for years! This now tastes like the almond milk I tried to avoid

This used to be my absolute favorite oat milk because like the name proclaimed, it was extra creamy and foamed nicely. Something changed and now it's watery and tasteless - the furthest thing from extra creamy - and doesn't foam at all. I used to buy 2 cartons a week, but no more! I'm switching to other brands. Chobani really screwed up.
Whyyyyy did you change the recipe???!!!

The new recipe is genuinely awful. Thin as water, bad aftertaste, and literally ruined my coffee today. I noticed the difference immediately upon opening the carton. I’ve been buying this for YEARS and am so disappointed. Not buying this ever again!

I’ve been buying the Chobani extra creamy oatmilk for over a year now. This morning, I got up and cracked open a new carton to put in my espresso and it was watery!! I was like, what did I do wrong? I got to looking and they changed the formula. I love that Chobani wants to put out healthier products, but they completely took away the creaminess…. Idk what to do now 😫

The past week or so I have been looking everywhere to try to find the old recipe. I finally found one. The new recipe is absolutely disgusting. I returned all of the new recipe ones please please bring back the old recipe for about two years. I’ve been buying a case of oat milk every week. I will not be purchasing the new recipe. It is watery grainy. It tastes completely unsweet it taste exactly like planet oat extra creamy and it’s disgusting.

This milk used to be my go-to for frothing my morning coffee, baking, drinking, even making gravy. No more. It is thin, watery, has a weird taste and texture. The new recipe frankly sucks. It doesn't meet a single need of mine minus the fact it's not dairy.

Who on Gods green earth thought changing the recipe for the extra creamy oat milk was a good idea!??? Why even have an extra creamy if it’s going to be the consistency of all the other chobani oat milks and dare I even say it…plant oat. We have been using chobani extra creamy for years and years and even tell coffee shops they are missing out if they aren’t using chobani extra creamy but I guess those days are gone and the days of us buying chobani too :( We sadly ran out this morning and ended up grabbing oatly instead. Chobani just bring back the good things. We don’t like this junk. It’s AWFUL!!
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

change it back. doesn't foam and tastes dull. i'm mad i just bought a bunch. but really, it doesn't foam anymore and i buy this stuff because i make golden milk and whisk it and the foam is a big part of the drink. now there's no reason for me to get it and i have to find an alternative. maybe the change works out for them idk but if you want something that foams, look elsewhere.
Go back Chobani, please.

This was my favorite oat milk, pretty much the only one I drank. I would buy 2-3 at a time. I just purchased 2 new cartons and I was wondering why my morning coffee hasn’t been tasting very good. Turns out they changed the recipe. The new recipe is NOT good at all. It feels very thin and the taste is gross, plus it leaves an unpleasant, lingering aftertaste. Additionally, this new recipe has more calories, more fat, more sodium, and more sugar. Please change it back! In the meantime, I have to find a different brand to buy. This new recipe is genuinely undrinkable for me.
