Q: Are both piece of this cake stand/dome dishwasher safe? If not, why not? It's glass, but I notice it says to hand wash. Why is that?

Q: Is this a versatile set can it be for multi use? Like some other dome cake plate are like a 3N1 use for punch or even salad.

A: Hello Fancy216 - I am going to copy an answer that was posted and say that the dome is designed to accommodate a cake that is 9” in diameter and approximately 4.5” tall. We recommend measuring your cake to make sure it will fit. - Melodee
