    Chintzy light filtering curtains

    I should have read the reviews. In white, these are no darker than the creme colored light filtering curtains I wanted to replace. Worse, these curtains look cheaper than they are priced. I put my old curtains back and have to go curtain shopping again. The Blue Nile curtains are now just more Chinese trash taking up space our landfill. I'll give them two stars because they are the correct length, but that is the only thing they had going for them.

    63 inches long? Not!

    63 inches? 62 with 2 inch hem. By the time I installed these, or tried, the return window had closed. So I took the hem down, added bias tape to rehem, and curtains went up. But not everybody sews. So measure the curtains as soon as you get them so you can return. I may just have gotten a mis-sewn batch. Otherwise, nice.

    These are not even remotely blackout.

    I cannot understand why these are referred to as 'semi-blackout.' They somehow made my room brighter when I hung them up. I bought four and they will all be returned. Big bummer.

    No Room Darkening, No Blackout, Sun goes right through it.

    If you need Blackout Curtians, do not order these. The curtains I purchased were White and the sun lights them up from behind. No Room Darkening, No Blackout feature in these curtains. The name is misleading. The curtains are not the highest qualitly, Slick fabric. I ordered 3 sets. Returned 2 of them and keep one only since I need a curtain right away. Purchased a Blackout Curtain Liner and added it behind them to block the light.

    The color is perfect. It’s a pretty muted pink that depending how you decorate could read more purple or pink. Great for anyone whose favorite color is pink.     Not Blackout

    we purchased these curtains for the nursery because we thought they were Blackout. Turns out they are not. I will return them because they don't provide what was advertised.
