The sugar content is fine
I dont think the sugar content matters it is advertised as Low glycemic. Assuming this is true because of all the bulk fat and protein in these bars this sugar will hit you slowly. These anti-sugar health fad people are crazy. Your body literally needs sugar to live. I appreciate the natural ingredients in these bars without the artificial sugars which probably cause more problems then the natural ones. So far I've eaten the white macadamia nut and chocolate brownie bars from the store.

I started eating Clif Builders Protein bars for breakfast years ago. I used to be able to buy them locally but stores stop carrying them. So now I order them directly from Clif. They fulfill my orders promptly.

I don't think I've ever left a review of anything before, but these are so ridiculously good. They taste like brownies--it's insane. Plus, it's been super hard for me to find tree nut free bars that aren't peanut butter flavored (it gets old) so these are awesome. Top tier protein bar; I wish they had a mini version.

My favorite Clif Product
I love the Chocolate, have for years. I am a diabetic and it fills me up but has a minimal effect on blood sugar. Great for meal replacement of a filling snack. Only problem is when bought from stores can be a little too firm.

Really glad I found these. They are just the right amount of filling for me. I'll use them when on the go or prior to workout and sometimes post workout. I'm bummed they discontinued the Sweet & Salty line but these are solid.
