[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was a little unsure of how I would feel about this being a caffeinated protein bar, but it’s actually really delicious! It has a strong almond aftertaste so if you do not like almond, you probably will not like it. It also has a great texture which I can be very particular about when it comes to granola and protein bars. Caffeine does not really do a ton to me, so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of that, but if you’re just looking for an artist to snack on, it taste great!

I did feel moderately energized after eating it during a work break. It was easy enough to toss in my bag for on the go.

I love the convenience of having a bar that will tide me over when I’m in the go. This cliff bar is going to be a new go to when I plan my trips! It is great because this is one that I don’t have to worry about melting in my bag. I love having more snacks I can take in hotter situations when I have no cooler. The caffeinated feature is a bonus for me, because when I reach for my bars it is usually when I’m doing some type of physical activity. I really love the vanilla almond flavor! It is not super sweet, so it feels more like a snack than candy. A lot of the bars that include caramel and chocolate these days are just way too sweet. Can’t wait to see other delicious flavors they come out with in the caffeinated variety!

The texture threw me off a bit as it was grainy at times but I get that from other bars as well. I didn’t notice any significant change from the caffeine but I definitely wasn’t tired after eating it. I liked the packaging design and reading about the tennis player on it! I would definitely eat one again!
