Born on a 175-mile bike ride, CLIF BAR energy bars are purposefully crafted with a mix of protein, fat, and carbohydrates to help sustain active bodies before and during long-lasting activity. CLIF BAR energy bars are made with quality ingredients like wholesome organic rolled oats and no high-fructose corn syrup, and they are non-GMO and plant-based for a granola bar you can feel good about. Love having this for breakfast.
Came really fresh in the package. Texture was a bit chewy with bits of nuts. The taste is like mint chocolate chip cookies. It’s a bit expensive but the macros are good.

These contain caffeine!
It doesn't say it anywhere in the product description, but these contain caffeine. You can see it in the product picture on the label in the tiny print. I don't know why it's not explicitly stated in the product headline and description like it is for every other caffeinated product, but make sure you know what you're buying. I bought two boxes with no interest in the caffeine, so imagine my surprise when caffeinated bars showed up. I was positive that I ordered the non-caffeinated ones - but apparently those don't exist anymore.

Not sure what happened but the bars are like... less? now.. it's less filling and more like a generic crispy treat with mint? The choc chips are less crunchy and the general texture is softer... overall not a huge fan of the new bars

Caffeine
Contains caffeine! This seems to be the only Clif Bar flavor that has caffeine added. I never would have bought knowing that. Sadly, it’s the only flavor my teen son likes. I wish they’d take the caffeine out.

Love it. Caffeine gives it a little boost to get through a hike. One of my favorite flavors - wish they'd bring back the peanut toffee buzz though. I like that the mint icing doesn't overpower it, but gets the flavor you want.

Cool mint used to be one of my favorite flavors. Now they taste like a fake sour can't hardly choke then down brown pile of you know what. Take the caffeine out and make them like you used to.

I have been buying clif bars for a few years but recently bought a box and all the bars had a weird sour aftertaste. I think they may have changed the formula from what I have read from other reviews.

Disappointed to see flavor contains caffeine(not for teens)
Caffeine is an ingredient not only absent in all other flavors but is unnecessary. I use for my daughter in sports, she loves the flavor, but I don't want her using caffeine as her source of energy
