i usually use Olay products, which I can just buy at the drugstore. But I get some haircare products from Ulta, so thought I'd see what comparable moisturizer-sunscreen they had and give it a try. I know Clinique is a good brand, but for the money, i think I'll stick w/ my much cheaper Olay product. the Clinique product just doesn't absorb into my skin as well as Olay, so i feel as if it's not doing its job as well.
Why is it coming off my fave in white rubbery balls

Just got this today, it burns so there's that and I've never had sensitive skin. And it's rolling off in little white rubbery balls all over my face and neck and even in my hair. Yuck! Would love to return but they probably wouldn't let me since I've opened and used but wow, what a disappointment!
Clumps

Clinique products have been in my skincare routine for a looooong time and I love Clinique! But… this one I purchased the SPF30 option by accident and I didn't think much would be different so I kept it and now that I'm using it, it goes on nicely but after a little while it will clump all over on my face and I look like I have horribly dry skin! Like skin dandruff! Unfortunately this was a fail for me but it's too expensive to throw away so I will use it and deal with the clumps!

Exceptional Hydration & Protection

This cream offers an exceptional formulation to protect the complexion from the elements. It is NOT heavy in the least, yet offers a comfortable hydrated feel to the skin. It DOES NOT peel either, contrary to "other" reviews. I feel well protected and rejuvenated with this skin care product and I am a 58 year old male!
Terrible Product

I had been using the wrinkle correcting cream (without SPF) and thought it was a great product. When I repurchased this I was given the Broad Spectrum SPF & this stuff is terrible. It goes on fine but don't look in the mirror an hour later because your face will look like it's peeling. I thought it was me at first but then I switched back to the non-SPF and had no problems. This stuff is so expensive. What a waste of my money. I can't believe Clinique put out such a bad product. Makes to leave Clinique altogether.
Rolls right off

I agree with a lot of the previous comments, moisturizer/sunscreen rolls right off your skin, will not be buying again. Unfortunately I don't see any other moisturizers available that are anti-aging and have sun protection…somewhat disappointing, feel as if I will have to shop elsewhere for my skin care needs even though I've been using Clinique for more than 30 years
Too heavy and tacky

I needed to update my facial routine. I've purchased Clinique my entire adult life so as I was traveling home from a weekend trip, I stopped at a department store that sells Clinique (as I don't live near one). I was sold this product along with moisture surge. This product feels too heavy and stays tacky all day long. I'm very disappointed, especially given the price paid. I am over my 30 days to return as I don't live near this particular department store with the ability to return.

I have been using Clinique for a long time and I was happy to see a cream with SPF, but I regret this purchase because it's too thick and dry. More importantly, it has a strong chemical smell. Don't wanna use it anymore.
Greasy, pilly & causes breakout

In the past I used Clinique Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom-repair Moisturizer. This was my favorite for years. Once it was discontinued I decided to try Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Wrinkle Correcting Cream. This moisturizer is horrible! It does not absorb into the skin and leaves a heavy greasy feeling which has now caused my face to breakout. Unfortunately I ordered the large jar prior to my other moisturizer running out. Since I started using this the 30 day return window has past. Such a waste of money and I still need to find another moisturizer. Note: I only used this product a little over a week.
Money down the drain - sticky and peels off

I have been a lifelong Clinique user and was so glad that the smart line came out with a 30SPF version. I didn't hesitate to supersize in preparation for summer. I should have bought the mini rather than the largest. Or better yet, none. It goes on so thick and tacky and no matter how long I wait to apply even a hint of makeup it just rolls right off then or later when touching the face. And I know it has no fragrance but it really does have that basic smell of a sunscreen. It feels as if I've put on a sunscreen made for my body accidentally on my face. I have only used it a few times and hate that I waited to finish my open jar of the regular one before opening this one.
very allergic

I have used Smart Clinical Repair for a while now with no issues. However, this product caused redness, burning, swelling and itching. I wasn't sure this was what caused the allergic reaction, so I tried it once again on my neck a week later and the same thing happened. So I'm definitely allergic to something in this product.

I loved Clinique Smart moisturizer with 20 spf and used it for many years. When it was discontinued, this moisturizer was recommended, so I tried it. What a mistake! I have never experienced the pilling and flaking that this product causes. I miss the old Clinique Smart!
