I have been using Clinique for a long time and I was happy to see a cream with SPF, but I regret this purchase because it's too thick and dry. More importantly, it has a strong chemical smell. Don't wanna use it anymore.

In the past I used Clinique Smart Broad Spectrum SPF 15 Custom-repair Moisturizer. This was my favorite for years. Once it was discontinued I decided to try Clinique Smart Clinical Repair Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Wrinkle Correcting Cream. This moisturizer is horrible! It does not absorb into the skin and leaves a heavy greasy feeling which has now caused my face to breakout. Unfortunately I ordered the large jar prior to my other moisturizer running out. Since I started using this the 30 day return window has past. Such a waste of money and I still need to find another moisturizer. Note: I only used this product a little over a week.

I have been a lifelong Clinique user and was so glad that the smart line came out with a 30SPF version. I didn't hesitate to supersize in preparation for summer. I should have bought the mini rather than the largest. Or better yet, none. It goes on so thick and tacky and no matter how long I wait to apply even a hint of makeup it just rolls right off then or later when touching the face. And I know it has no fragrance but it really does have that basic smell of a sunscreen. It feels as if I've put on a sunscreen made for my body accidentally on my face. I have only used it a few times and hate that I waited to finish my open jar of the regular one before opening this one.

I have used Smart Clinical Repair for a while now with no issues. However, this product caused redness, burning, swelling and itching. I wasn't sure this was what caused the allergic reaction, so I tried it once again on my neck a week later and the same thing happened. So I'm definitely allergic to something in this product.
Great option when higher SPF is needed

I have fair skin and love the option of having sunscreen in my moisturizer so I do not have to apply separately. Love the clinical repair line from Clinique

I loved Clinique Smart moisturizer with 20 spf and used it for many years. When it was discontinued, this moisturizer was recommended, so I tried it. What a mistake! I have never experienced the pilling and flaking that this product causes. I miss the old Clinique Smart!

I tried the smart clinical repair broad spectrum SPF 30 wrinkle correcting cream in a 2.5 oz jar. It made my face itch. I had to discard it.

I love clinique products and use it because it is usually trustworthy especially for sensitive skin. I used this for a week and noticed a lot of dryness and chafing. While on vacation, I went back to using my smart moisturizer. When returning, I resumed using this. After a week, my face is swollen, red and burning. I was up all night with a burning sensation and can't get it to stop.
I Keep Trying To Use It

I keep going back to this and trying again and again to use it with no luck. This stuff pills no matter what is put on under it if anything. After one year I'm finally giving up and tossing it in the trash. I hate wasting product and money but I just can't anymore. Plus I'm not a fan of the fragrance.
Not a worthy replacement for old line.

I have to echo a number of the other reviews. This does not live up to the former Smart line. While I like some of the effects, it pills and is gloopy. It also took a while for my skin to get used to it and I had a few breakouts in spots where I typically do not.
Harsh and drying on skin

I liked the previous Clinique Smart SPF 15 Custom-Repair Moisturizer with shea butter. Clinique's new Smart Clinical Repair SPF 30 strips away all the moisture in my skin and makes it feel very dry so I'm returning. I found discontinued version with Shea butter on another website and will purchase today.

Wanted to love this so much. I even bought the jumbo size right off the bat. No matter how I applied or what products I used with it, it flakes off and pills like crazy. So annoying.
It is good (I still miss the old line)

While this is a good product and I'm using it with good results - I miss the old line. It was better. The old line was smoother and less chalky - maybe the old line was more oil based?? This is good and still my preferred daytime moisturizer if I am going to be outside. The SPF makes it a bit thick and drying. I'm a man with sensitive, very dry skin - so this is almost too dry for my skin. But I like the anti-aging effects - it makes a difference and I see it in my face. This may just not be the best option for those of us with very dry skin - it needs to be more oil based. It's not gel-based so those with oily skin - well I don't know how this would work for oily skin either. Beyond the slightly drying effect and chakly SPF - it's still good and works well for anti-aging and seeing a smoother complexion. It is part of an overall routine - I think it is just a piece of the puzzle that makes my skin look great.
I like this product because it goes together with the serum.

I'm so disappointed that I haven't bought a smaller size but got a biggest size straight away - wasted money!! Peels off even after cleansing and exfoliating! Peels off with a white flakes all over with or without smart serum applied before, absolutely not suitable as a makeup base. Very dissatisfied
