This non-abrasive toilet bowl cleaner removes dirt and grime, destroying 99.9% of bacteria with a powerful clinging non-bleach formula. The uniquely angled dispensing nozzle makes it easy to target hard to reach areas under the bowl rim. This Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner clings to the toilet bowl surface to dissolve hard water stains, and destroy mineral deposits, rust, and lime scale. Keep the dreaded toilet ring away with this powerful non-bleach cleaner, as it deodorizes and powers through the toughest toilet stains. Get your toilet squeaky clean with Clorox Toilet Bowl Cleaner Lime & Rust Destroyer. USAGE DIRECTIONS: To open, squeeze sides of cap where symbols indicate and twist counterclockwise one-quarter turn. Cap does not come off. To reseal, turn cap clockwise until tightly closed. Flush toilet before cleaning. Apply 6 ounces of toilet cleaner under and around rim to coat the inside of the bowl. Scrub the entire bowl with a stiff brush and allow to sit for 5 minutes to disinfect. Do not allow pets or children to access the toilet during this time. Flush toilet. For best results, reapply weekly. CAUTION STATEMENTS: This toilet cleaner causes substantial but temporary eye injury. Do not get in eyes, on skin or clothing. Wear protective eyewear. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, chewing gum, or using tobacco. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Do not use or mix with products that contain bleach (sodium hypochlorite). To do so may release hazardous gases. Always flush toilet before and after use of this product.

Q: We have a septic system and I use Ridex once a month to keep things running clean. Is it OK to use the Clorox Lime and Rust Destroyer every week? I would not do it on the same day so is it safe?

Good for hard water cleaning
It’s good for general cleaning if you have hard water, but did not remove some really bad stains that we have in our toilet. The packaging is great and it’s a great price, I’ll continue to use it for regular cleaning! I just wish it did better at getting out our bad stains.

We have some minerals in our water that tend to build up even with regular cleaning but this stuff takes care of it. I'm usually not particularly impressed with cleaning products. Most do about the same job but this is one I will be using from now on for our toilets.

Hard water rings without scrubbing
This toilet cleaner will work wonders on any kind of rust or hard water stains you might have. They are normally a pain to scrub at but this will do the job for you. I just let it sit a few minutes and it does 99% of the cleaning during on its own!

Easy to use
I have tried multiple cleaners on my toilet bowl and sink. I’ve had no success removing the hot water stains. I finally found your product and amazingly within 10 minutes and following the directions carefully I had a sparkling toilet bowl thank you. I just wish it was easier to open with my arthritic hands.

Didn't Work
As far as hard water goes, ours isn't too bad but we do get that mineral build-up in the shape of a ring in the toilet. Sometimes, there's a little bit of staining below the water line. I cleaned following the directions and it did nothing, so I gave it another try but left it for 5 hours. Again, nothing. It didn't even budge. Very disappointing.
