While its assembly proved a bit challenging and required two people, the end result is a beautiful and functional storage organizer. However, be cautious during construction, as the pressed wood edges can crack easily. Overall, it's a stylish addition with ample space for light to medium weight books.

This definitely feels sturdier than many similar cubbies on the market, and is standing up to the rigorous demands of toy storage. Fits inside a closet so has made toy rotation much easier!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Closet maid 8-cube storage organizer shelf is great, it fits perfectly where I needed it and provides plenty of space for the things I wanted to store on this shelf. I make holiday decor and needed somewhere to place my finished decorations. This is great for that. It was fairly easy to assemble, although I do suggest assembling it against a wall so it doesn't slide around and become unaligned while installing it's side panels. It's not too heavy so when I need to move it I won't need help. Yes I would recommend this.

It was easy to put together and looks great. If you wanted to use it for storage you could get the cubby drawers to put in the holes.

Worked well for me in a cut out in the closet that I was able to set it up and create that extra storage. The cube shelves are helpful whether you get the cubes to put in, or use the shelving for other items such as shoes or clothes in a closet. I can easily see the unit being used for other areas in the home as well such as family rooms and play rooms to make extra storage space. Fast and easy to assemble with only one person involved.

The instructions were easy to follow. The color is nice and goes well with anything. There is a lot of shelves to utilize and help keep you organized. I would definitely recommend.

Would have been a 5, but there was a small dent in the wood. We did turn the unit over so the dent was on the bottom. Otherwise, I like the color, the sturdiness and it was rather easy to assemble.

This storage shelf was easy and quick to put together. It is not as sturdy as I had hoped. The material is laminate over composite. Bought it on sale for $135, which is pricey considering the product.

Decent but not as sturdy as the previous shelves we ordered of the same brand. These shelves would benefit greatly from an L bracket on the back side. Also we had to drill our own holes for some of the ends.

Very difficult to put together and pieces missing. Will never purchase another product from this manufacturer. Too heavy to even return and not sturdy enough to use.
