Cocokind's Beginner Retinol Gel 0.1% is clinically-tested for sensitive skin and made with their Tri-Retinoid Comfort Complex™ to improve the appearance of fine lines and uneven texture without irritation. Retinol, one of the most well-researched ingredients for aging and blemish-prone skin, helps support skin’s collagen and promotes surface cell turnover for a youthful glow. I really like how gentle yet effective this retinol is. Whenever I break out or develop texture, this gel resets my skin. I like to apply it after my moisturizer fully absorbs. I've also been able to use it every night without irritation.

I have extremely sensitive, redness-prone skin. This product has been fantastic - I slowly introduced it into my routine over the last couple of months and I can tell a difference. My skin is smoother, less red, and has more of a glow. I had no reactions, and I now use it 3x per week. A little goes a long way. I am really impressed with this product. Be patient with introducing it in your routine and waiting for results - it’s worth it!

this is a great product for someone who's looking to incorporate retinol into their skincare routine. i've used other retinols in the past and my skin has always reacted poorly to it, but I decided to give this one a try and it does not disappoint! I started using this 1x a week along with the ceramide barrier serum + electrolyte water cream layered on top for the last two months and I am happy with how well my skin has tolerated it. I've already noticed a difference and I'm excited to see how my skin transforms with prolonged used.

So i love this and the stronger retinol they offer, but since I have slacked on retinol the gentler version has been my go to since my skin feels a little more sensitive when I used the stronger retinol (after taking a break). I use this nightly and layer with their serums.

I tried the Cocokind Beginner Retinol Gel for the first time yesterday and was honestly surprised by how quickly I saw a difference. Ive had a stubborn, active pimple that just wouldnt budge, and after using this gel, the inflammation noticeably went down overnight! This is my first retinol I've ever used and I believe it has transformed my skin!! My skin feels so soft and looks radiant, while I've also noticed a difference with my pores and blackheads. I don't experience any major irritation with using this retinol, except for very mild tingle/burn when applied around the nose, but it goes away as soon as I begin applying moisturizer. This retinol soaks into my skin really nicely as well and I'm so looking forward to trying the next strength when I'm finished with this tube!

I'm at the age that I have to start worrying about retinol, so of course I go to my go to brand and try their retinol and OMG it makes my skin feel so smooth and soft. I haven't been using it regularly because I keep forgetting to incorporate it into my night routine, but when I do remember, I wake up and my skin is glowing and feels so soft!

I've always wanted to try retinols but highkey my skin does not do well. I've struggled quite a bit finding a good product and honestly traumatized by how bad of a retinol burn I get. I was extremely nervous trying the beginner retinol gel but super grateful that my skin can actually handle it. It's a good product to get started with retinols and I love seeing the improvements it has done to my acne prone and very textured skin!

I've been consistently using this gel for a little over a month and am seeing marked improvement in my skin texture and evenness of color. I've had pretty severe acne in the past, so I'm always reluctant to try to implement any new/strong products for fear of a reaction. However, I worked my way up to using this nightly and haven't had any adverse effects. I'm using sunscreen religiously now and haven't had any problems with sun exposure. Happy to be able to use retinol at long last and looking forward to easing into stronger retinol at some point in the future.
