derma e Anti-Acne Oil Control Matte Moisturizer – 2oz

I absolutely love this moisturizer. It truly does help control my acne and my oil on my face.

Holy cow, I've discovered the mother load with this cream. I used to get so oily around my forehead area and nose. And around the time I menstruate, i tend to break out sometimes. This cream mows over all that and leaves my face soft, fresh, and clean. I literally want to tell everyone about it. Derma E products ftw !

Dislike: horrible smell, sticky texture, acne did not get better after using for three + months, expensive, face was still extremely oily, did not mattify Pros : none unfortunately

I'm using it morning and night right now and it help control my oil levels without drying out my skin.

This moisturizer does not clog pores or cause break outs. I wear it under my makeup and it helps it last longer on my oily skin. I have finally found a product that protects and moisturizes that is good for my skin! I took off one star only because it is not as matte as I would like. I still cannot go without any makeup.

It’s taken me months to pinpoint the cause of a constant breakout along my hair line and forehead, and derma e brand is the cause. This serum specifically and another moisturizer both have been clogging my pores (but because it’s advertised to not do such and it didn’t burn when applied, I didn’t realize this brand was the cause). Two days upon no longer applying this serum though, and my skin has improved significantly. Disappointed to say the least. Not sure what derma e adds to their products, but it doesn’t sit well with my very sensitive skin to say the least

I have oilier skin so I thought this might be good to try. It makes my face tighten up and itchier right after I apply.

I’m sad I really tried to make this moisturizer work but it has made my skin super oily and I have normal skin type. Strange because it’s supposed to be oil controlling. I got a tiny break out today which was my breaking point so I’ve decided I’ll unfortunately have to stop using it. I expected this moisturizer to give a mattefying effect too but it has been the total opposite :( Hope this helps, thanks for reading.

Previously a huge fan of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizer. My skin wasn't perfect but it was good enough. I saw an esthetician twice before my wedding who noted that based on my diet and overall health, she was surprised to see any acne or the small red bumps that appeared on my cheeks and temple. She recommended a pricier, professional skincare line, as well as Derma E as an organic, less expensive alternative. I tried the pricer skincare line first and wasn't impressed / didn't see a change. I tried Derma E and noticed my skin becoming smoother, physically and in color, despite the fact that I'm in my first trimester and my hormones are WILD haha. I use the Acne Oil-Control Matte Moisturizer after washing my face with the Acne Facial Cleanser each morning / whenever I shower followed by using the Acne Treatment Serum for Blemish Control. TLDR: I've noticed an improvement with my skin and would highly recommend this to anyone with acne-prone skin.

I think this is a great moisturizer for oily people. My forehead gets so oily and shiny and now it barely gets oily. It also has stopped my acne breakouts!!! Only thing i can’t stand is the smell of the tea tree oil but it does go away fast. Get this !

I have been using this with the acne serum for a while now and them together seem to help my acne stay at bay. I have tried other products (thinking maybe at 31 I have grown out of acne) but it always came back until I started using this again. I like that it helps with acne while still making my skin feel really hydrated.

not much needed, so this will last. i use it as a treatment under a heavier moisturizer during cold weather. haven't used in humid weather yet. strong smell, but it does fade a bit.

I was having trouble with acne and this has been clearing it up as ive been consistent with it! Also more effective for dry skin than former mosturizers

I suffered from oily skin and acne. It's important for me that my face looks moisturized without looking all greasy. This product help me keep that great balance.

I get painful cystic acne on my face and there's nothing I've been able to do for it but take spironolactone (which I hate being on). I recently stopped taking the prescription and the acne returned, so I did my research and found this cream. I like Derma-e's night cream, so thought I'd give this one a try. And it's been amazing! My face is so clear and the oiliness is gone too.

I use this every morning on my T-Zone and see such a difference! My forhead can be blinding but this product mattes my shiny head. I also have hormonal acne, sensative and oily skin. I frequently would breakout on my forhead and chin but this product has helped calm my skin. A litttle goes a long way! Definitely worth the price if your doubting it, bc you will have a jar for a couple months. I have tried many products with salicylic acid (drug store to luxury brands) and I really like Dermae's formula. The percentage of salicylic acid is perfect for my sensative skin, other products have dried me out or cause more breakouts.

I use this product every morning and night, when I wake up and before I go to bed. It clears my acne so well and also keeps the acne away!! Been using Derma-E for 2 years now and I swear by it!!

I am on my second container of this product. I love it. I can't believe it took my whole life to find it. First, this moisturizer actually rubs all the way into your skin. No greasy residue is left (like other moisturizers). My foundation stays in place all day now. (No more sliding foundation). This moisturizer helps to keep my oily skin under control for WAY LONGER than any other moisturizer that I've ever used before. The smell is slightly off-putting at first, but it goes away quickly, so it's definitely not a deal-breaker. I am sold on this product. Thank you!
