Description

Cocokind's daily SPF is a lightweight, reef-safe, mineral-based facial sunscreen that protects skin against UVA and UVB rays, blue light, and pollution damage. Non-nano and reef-safe, zinc oxide decreases the risk of skin cancer and prevents signs of early aging. Blue phytoplankton helps combat skin damage caused by blue light exposure. Blue phytoplankton also contains phycocyanin, which acts as an antioxidant and helps boost skin radiance. Microalgae helps shield skin from the effects of urban living and pollution, while also supporting the skin barrier. Rice starch absorbs excess sebum, providing a natural-looking finish. Cocokind’s daily SPF is cruelty-free, vegan, sustainably packaged with sugarcane materials, recyclable, and made in the USA. It is free from toxins, fillers, artificial colors, artificial fragrances, parabens, phthalates, mineral oils, and sulfates. cocokind Daily Sunscreen is recognized by the National Eczema Association with the Seal of Acceptance.

Uses Helps prevent sunburn, if used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Directions

Directions Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure, Sun Protection Measures, Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m .- 2 p.m., wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses. · reapply at least every 2 hours, use a water-resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

    The Perfect Post Procedure SPF

    I love the ingredients and the brand, but I can't seem to rub this in enough to get rid of the slight white cast, so I don't use it as my daily sunscreen ( bring back the chemical formula, please!) BUT, it is PERFECT after Microneedling, and I imagine, it would work after lasers and other treatments, when you absolutely must wear sunscreen, you can't afford to miss a spot, but you need soothing ingredients (aloe, dipotassium glycyrrhizate, and vit e). Obviously, check with your doc (I'm always told nothing for the first 24 hours), but as a post-procedure SPF, this wins.

    A sneaky favourite (& a hack!)

    This is one of my sneaky Cocokind favorites! Not only do I love it as an SPF, but my little hack is I've found my makeup lasts FAR longer when I use this SPF than when I don't. Pro tip: If you're worried about texture or a white cast, just apply with less product at a time rather than in a larger glob.

    I really love this...

    I really love this product. In todays market finding a sunscreen thats non toxic and has great performance seams like a challenge. Cocokinds daily spf completed the task! I hope in the future we'll have only organic ingredients in the formulation but as of now is one of the best out there

    Best mineral SPF around!

    This was the first CocoKind product I tried, and let's just say I was hooked! I have dry, sensitive skin, and I live at high altitude. This SPF is the best for protection, hydration, and it gives my skin a nice glow- bonus! It goes on smoothly (a little goes a long way), does not create a zombie white cast, and it does not pill when used on top of other products or under make-up. Despite being hydrating, it does not feel occlusive or greasy at all; you get a nice glow, but don't turn out shiny. Great product- I hope they make it forever!

    Pleasantly Surprised

    I don’t normally write reviews but am pleasantly surprised by this sunscreen. I have oily skin that is prone to minor breakouts when I introduce new products. I have used this sunscreen daily for almost one week with zero issues! Most surprisingly, it seems to help with oil control, doesn’t feel sticky or leave a sheen, and doesn’t interfere with the tinted moisturizer I use on top. Knocking one star because the price seems a bit high for the amount of product - the tube was much smaller than I expected.

    Hydrating, lightweight SPF

    I use this product daily, especially when using my retinol. It's lightweight and a little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time. The Daily SPF eeps my skin hydrated throughout the day, so typically I don't apply a moisturizer when I've already applied the SPF.

    The best sunscreen out there

    I absolutely love this sunscreen. It melts into your skin so wonderfully. I can wear this under makeup and I don't have to worry about it pilling or peeling, I recommend this SPF to all of my friends.

    All Mineral Sunscreens have a cast. This is THE best of them

    Alll mineral sunscreens will leave a cast on brown skin, but I still LOVE this sunscreen. I have super sensitive skin and have tried a dozen mineral sunscreens looking for something my skin will tolerate. This leaves the least amount of cast and doesn't send my skin into a tizzy. Please, please: change nothing. And for those who want a cast-free sunscreen, look into chemical or something with more emollients. Leave this one alone as one of the few I can tolerate. It goes on well, is a fab primer/ base for my mineral makeup and doesn't leave me with angry red bumps and an itchy face.
