The mint is very strong and long lasting. The strips make it very refreshing. If you do not enjoy a strong mint flavor I would recommend choosing something else. I don't like blue colored toothpaste because they often don't impart enough of the dye to make teeth look whiter. The polishing effects are not long lasting and the flavor is not as great as I've tasted. This toothpaste, although it does not make my breath feel maxfresh, taste okay. The flavor is refreshing (not sickly or overly artificial like some toothpastes can be), and it leaves my mouth feeling clean and minty. It's not overly intense, which I like, but still gives a cool and crisp sensation. My only downside is the fresh taste and feeling doesn't last as long as I hoped. After a few hours, I find myself needing to freshen up again, which is a little disappointing given how strong the initial taste and freshness is. Still, it's a solid toothpaste and does a great job with overall cleanliness and freshness, so I'll continue using it! Would definitely recommend, just don't expect all-day freshness.

I was a bit skeptical of the tiny pieces of breath strips that are plainly visible within the paste, honestly thought it was a little "gimmicky"... I was refreshingly wrong. This is the most robust, long lasting, mint flavour I've come across in a tooth paste... definitely helps put a little extea pep in your step after the morning routine!

I have used the Colgate Max Fresh line for years but never tried the Knockout Mint variety before. I was interested to see how it compared to the others. The toothpaste is strong and minty, just the way I like it. Unlike mouthwash, it doesn't burn my gums while brushing. The flavor is surprisingly pleasant and leaves my entire mouth feeling super clean and minty fresh! Due to the addition of mini breath strips, this is a great breath freshener. My breath stays fresher for longer than it does with my regular toothpaste. The gel consistency makes it easy to squeeze from the tube and to apply to my toothbrush. It rinses easily and doesn't leave little bits of toothpaste stuck between the bristles like some thicker toothpastes. Some toothpastes give me canker sores but I didn't experience any issues or irritation when using this. If you eat a lot of strongly scented foods, this is definitely worth a try!
