I buy self-assembly products all the time. This is the worst item I can remember. I don't mind the low quality of the chair itself because I paid very little for it but if I can't get the screw screws in the holes because nothing lined up there's a serious problem. I would never buy from this company again.

I was hoping to find an already assembled office chair because in my experience they have always been a pain to put together. This was easy and I did it in 30 mins! I sat on it for a brief moment and it seems comfortable enough for the work day.

Do you want to lean back a bit? Too bad. This chair tilts forward leaving you with 0 lower back support. There's a knob on the bottom that's supposed to control the resistance to leaning back. I've maxed it out to what is supposed to be the least resistance yet it still takes me putting an unnecessary amount of my 170lbs of weight to recline. I don't want my face 6 inches from my monitor at all times, and I want lower back support at least a little bit. That's why I can not recommend this to anyone.

I purchased this chair for my husband for Christmas and it's missing all the screws. We called the 800 number and informed Target of the issue, to date we still have not received the screws. Extremely disappointed!

A couple of the barrel nuts were angled diagonally making it very difficult to assemble. After complete assembly, the chair had a weird diagonal tilt when sitting back and the tension adjustment for the back didn’t work. Aside from these issues the seat is not very deep and had to sit forward more than was comfortable at 5’8”.

This chair is pretty comfortable so far but I haven’t had it for long so hopefully it won’t wear down too soon. Putting it together was a pain when you get to the arms, it’s definitely a two person job. The screws can be finicky as well. Gets the job done for the price! I’m happy to have gotten this on sale & it’s been a great addition to my room.

Screws are often impossible to put in, making the chair completely useless. Just playing the lottery weather you get one that works or not. Spent over an hour trying to get a single screw in with no success after getting the other 4 in under a couple minutes. Waste of money

I've had this chair for a while. For the price you can't beat it. However, it started out really comfortable in the seat, but it has lost comfort over time (I've had it maybe a year?) and I'm going to have to replace it since the foam isn't that great and it's not supportive anymore. I'm an average build, and chairs has been through average wear and tear. The arm rests were never comfortable. They're just hard plastic. So, price point is great because desk chairs are expensive, but you're not really going to get much longevity out of it.

This chair was easy to assemble… granted, you need to throw away the crappy “tools” they provide and use real tools to put it together (I used a battery powered drill and a good quality Allen wrench). But seriously, we’re talking 3 bolts/screws and nuts… that’s it. And if you can’t get the threads to line up on the arms, just adjust the torque on your drill and go to town. It’ll go in and rethread along the way. I promise. I had this together in 20 minutes. It looks good, seat is comfy and it’s pretty solid. Enjoy!!

If I could give reviewers a review, I would give them a one star. Ok, is this the easiest chair to assemble? No. If that is what you need, go buy a $300 chair. Because this is a $80 chair and for the little money you spend on it, it is worth the little extra time that it takes to read the very easy to understand instructions and carefully peice it together. The chair is very comfortable. The seat padding is awesome and the back and head support is about as close to perfect as you're going to get with any chair. The chair is very solid and tilts back nicely once you adjust the tension spring underneath. The L-shaped tool that comes with is a bit useless on some screws, and very usefull in the areas that require a little extra leverage to get past the thread-lock. Just make sure you align your threads correctly and be patient in putting this together. And have a few extra tools to make it easier to assemble.
