These clips are not good for long heavy hair. Very disappointing. I have used this type of clip for over 20 years, they usualy have tiny little teeth to grip your hair. But these have little nubs and not a very strong grip. I put the value at 1 star because it is a waste of money if they don't work. Quailty at 2 stars if they had the teeth they would be much better, but they still need a stronger grip.

I love these clips as a whole. These are what I’d consider medium size, and they do stay in without slipping. My hair is extremely thin and below my shoulders, so I’d have better results with the smaller clips I think? But definitely recommend

As soon as I took one out of the packaging, I was about to clip one in my hair, and the clasp part broke apart, took another one off and began putting in my hair, the clasp was fine, but the claw part, broke off, but not the whole thing, just 2 of the claw pieces. I’ll stick with hair ties.

Recently.. I purchased these again. They changed the thickness and durability of these claw clips. The clip on the left is what they look like recently. Feels flimsy and light. I bought the exact same one a few months ago (on the right). It was more thicker and stronger. It had grip in the inside and a stronger spring. Wish it was like how I bought them before.

These last me longer than other hair clips, take longer to break with my thicker hair and they grab the hair well without pulling or pinching. Wish my nearest store would get them in more often, I stocked up last year and it’s almost time for more! 😉

I prefer the ones with the silicone/rubber no grip feature, which stay put all day, but they are getting harder to find. Please don't tell me the micro teeth are replacing them. The teeth slide through my fine hair.
