CONAIRMAN 100% Wood Handmade Dressing Comb

Started falling apart after two weeks of use

The wood is roughly cut so there are numerous areas that will catch and snag hair. I've also had splinters come off and cracks appear that also catch and damage my hair. This comb is worthless and if I could give it 0 stars that would still be too high of a rating.

This is the second CONAIRMAN 100% Wood Handmade Dressing Comb I've purchased. Both of them broke in exactly the same way. While holding the comb in my hand and combing through my hair a section of the end teeth have broken off in my hand. It seems that the comb is glued together and the glue simply can't withstand the pressures of normal use.

Very unusual. Poorly made, bristles look like they might give you a splinter. Returned.

Comb started to come apart after only a few uses. I’ve only had it for a week and the glue is already coming undone.

The spine spontaneously peels off after less than a month which makes the whole thing useless. Not worth the money at all

Just raw untreated wood, bought 2 stained 1 with mahogany and it looks excellent, plan on spraying clear coat next. Pretest it works the plastic one without the annoying bending-works good so far.

Didn’t even last a week. Top came unglued from bottom.

Combs Hair, Good. Made from the finest woods.

i bought this while i was on vacation, and i've been very pleasantly surprised with this comb! i thought it would be a good eco/sustainable option - but was a little disappointed to see that it was packaged in a plastic sleeve, and with a plastic bubble. conair could do better with minimal cardboard packing for this product, but it does look great so i appreciate why the window is there to see the product. what really surprised me was just how comfortable this comb is on my scalp! and an extra bonus because this comb is wooden, i don't get a ton of fly aways from the static caused when combing with a plastic comb! i'm hooked!! i have seen one small splinter with this comb, time will tell if this will be an ongoing issue. so far i'm two weeks in, and i am thoroughly impressed with this comb - wish they had a travel size (maybe i'll saw it in half and sand it down haha). also why is this called conairman? works fine for women's hair too...

Very low quality. This wooden comb has splinters everywhere and it will get on your hair! Do not buy this!

Can’t get it to actually comb my hair. Just goes right over the top. Completely useless. The metal one is much better, though a little long.

Wish I could return this. It doesn't even work as a comb.

Poor construction and design. Teeth separated from spine at inlaid stripe after less than a month of use. End grain doesn't glue - major design flaw. This should have been obvious to the design and production teams don't waste your time or money

I Koked The Design But Unfortunately It Isn't Practical.

Wood is splintered between teeth. Looks like they rough sawed it and never finished it.

Came in maul BROKEN plus it is so heavy that it doesn’t actually comb through knots.DON’T BUY

Used it one time worked great and next day I go to use it again but noticed something between the teeth. On every one of the wide side teeth you could see wood splintering off. I used it on wet hair but come on it gets wet one time and it dries and splinters. You can see wood is lighter, like they did not put anything on to protect against wetness. Because of COVID i can not return it, so i just hope someone learns form my mistake. Unless you only plan to use it on dry hair or your Nick Offerman and think its manly to have wood splinters in your hair.

This is what i expected so using the product now.
