Don’t buy!!! This water bottle would be great, HOWEVER the packaging sticker adhesive will not come and it is now sticky. We have tried everything to come off with no luck. So upset that we have a sticky water bottle that attracts all kind of dirt, hair, etc. Not what I want my kid to drink from.

Adorableee, so cute, button was exciting for my son! also so light! Perfect size for a days worth of water Problem: sticky residue smudged all over! Im guessing the 'glue' holding the label on melted since its been so hot outside Target was amazing, they let us keep it and refunded. I plan on using goo gone or oil or bakingsoda, i hope it wont ruin the bottle's finish

Instead of a plastic straw I would prefer a metal straw for my son to use. My son enjoys the bottle for almond milk and it is kept cool during the school day.

The glue that comes on the packaging does not come off and makes the whole cup sticky. Don’t waste your money!

Cup came with sticky stuff on the side to hold the cup label down and it has been a mission to come off I’ve tried a lot of different things to see if it comes off and haven’t had success

I was looking for a cup for my son that he can't chew through so easily!!! He can still eventually chew through this with some time but I JUST found the replacement spouts on Amazon that just made it a GAME CHANGER. Also these cups don't leak. you have to make sure it is secured in both the black twist and the straw part. So please make sure your closing the cup right before you complain about that!

The most durable child’s water bottle we’ve found. Is also one of the only leak proof bottles that are actually leak proof. Is also incredibly easy to clean as it comes apart in 3 pieces. Toddler mom approved!

Push to open button busted off a month into school.

I have a kids stainless steel water bottle with an autospout. This is a replacement bottle for the first one which had a problem with the lid. When sucking the spout I get a lot of air and very little water. This is exactly what was happening with the first bottle I had so I returned the bottle to the store I bought it at and got this other one. After reading many reviews here I do not see that this has been an issue for others; however, many others have wanted to replace the lids for one reason or another and the company still does not offer that option. Contigo makes the lids so they could offer replacement lids. Such a waste when we have such a need and we want to use less and throw away less. It's past time for Contigo to care for the earth and do this simple thing.

I love everything about this water bottle except that it leaks. For a kids water bottle it is such a nightmare because it gets all over the diaper bag. I feel like maybe we got a defective one but it is such a let down cause it was not cheap.

Fell apart in less than a few weeks! The top part is very difficult to clean, reassemble and literally broke in multiple places within a couple of weeks. Expensive without the quality.

Awesome! Just remember to completely unhinge all connections (all meaning the screw in and snap, and so on) to allow to wash and dry (I wash by hand usually, dishwasher warm ok though) and Don't worry the pieces stay connected so it's not complicated! You won't ever lose a straw piece, for example. The thing I believe is a Con: price point catches you off guard when your child or toddler asks for this! Another con is maybe that you need to monitor this for possible years later peeling as painted bottles are soldered and can leach lead (possibly). My toddler needs to stay hydrated no matter what and we will be gradually weaning next school year (he's 2) so I will fill this with Spring Water for him during the Summer down South! Will monitor it for that plug thing/rumor about the Stanl*y lol. This is my favorite spout design and trust me we have enjoyed ALL types this year. He enjoys carrying this by the nifty handle (comfortable too). Technically not for 2's, you should wait until age 3, but this is still safer than inhaling a plastic bottled water cap. Friendly reminder to wash these each night with mild soap and water and let COMPLETELY air dry, sorry for the caps lol. Onward and Upward!

No replacement lids??? I love this water bottle I have 5 in my cupboard but can’t use any because the company doesn’t sell replacement lids. It’s 2024 with all the waste in the world you would think a company would care about the earth and make replacement parts instead of throwing out a perfectly useable water bottle minus a lid. If the company doesn’t realize ppl want to keep using a good product but will jump ship when you can’t find parts for it. Do better!

Bottle silicone portion is non-replaceable. My son chewed through the silicone and now the bottle is useless. Seems very wasteful. Would not recommend

Can’t love this enough. Bought these when my toddler was 8 months. He’s now 3.5. We have 3 of them & just now needed to replace as 2 started leaking out the button area. Received the new ones & comparing them to old ones, wow, ours have worn down ALOT! Still going to keep them as the leaking isn’t constant. But it was enough to get annoying & we figured we got our money worth out of them for sure. Especially considering one flew out of the truck on the highway going 75mph. One got ran over by my suv. Plus several throws across the house, concrete, etc. we did have to get a new lid once as the handle broke not long after buying it, reached out to customer service seeing if we could get a replacement lid, they sent a whole new cup!! I was amazed. Another reason we’re just buying new ones because the company is just the best. I’ve recommended them to over 100’s of parents. One brand that I would advertise for and actually mean every word. Plus I hate writing reviews but here I am😉

We love, love, love this Autospout bottles. We have owned three of these. As with what others are saying, the pain is there is no replacement for the silicone Autospout; rather, you have to buy a new bottle. Great business ploy, but not so good for the environment. You have a great product, but maybe could take a book from Thermos' page and provide replacement parts to keep these going.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a bottle that my toddler can keep in bed with him. Right now we have a similar size Contigo bottle that's essentially the same as this one but not insulated. We like that one because it truly doesn't leak, even when the spout is open. We were hoping this one did the same but with the spout open water will leak out. Otherwise it's a nice bottle, and it doesn't leak with the spout closed. It's just that we can't trust a toddler to always do that. The insulation works well too.

I cringe everytime I need to buy a new bottle when all I need is a replacement lid. If my special needs son did not have a preference for this specific one I would not be buying these Contigo bottles. The silicone spout will surely develop holes with use (by a child) and it is incredibly wasteful to throw away the entire bottle. Seriously, can the company not make money overcharging for the lid only and avoiding this wastage?

It fits in the side of his backpack and does not leak. It keeps his water cold for hours so he has a refreshing drink even in this hot weather.
