While putting chair together, realized that the holes that were pre drilled for the right arm were done improperly. Therefore, the right arm was unable to fasten to the chair. Assembly otherwise was pretty easy. The seat back is sturdy but it still does move in a right to left fashion (no more then a 1/4 inch movement) despite the three screws you use to attach it to the seat. The chair back is set up in such a way that it’s spring loaded. In other words without fixing the tilt mechanism the chair back is about two and half inches forward into the space of the seat. When you lean back it will move back but you do need to keep some tension on it to stay in place with out fixing the tilt mechanism. It will push you forward if you don’t. if you set the back tilt to a comfortable distance you now lose the lumbar support. It feels like you are leaning back. Just sitting in the chair for 5 minutes and my lower back is sore from fighting the spring tension and leaning back with the tilt fixed doesn’t make it better. I measured the chair, seat cushion depth is actually 18 inches and the width is just over 19 inches. The chair back is 18 1/4 inches and the height is shy of 20 1/2 inches. The distances from the floor are accurate to the product description. The chair cushion is contoured, meaning the there is a pre formed child sized seat contour. Pictures shows contour and I tried to show you how the seat back is forward over the chair cushion. Temporarily got right arm on there but it’s not actually attached.
